Horrible app and Customer Service

Horrible app and customer service, they lock you out after 2 no shows/late cancellations which is very harsh, especially for people who may have unpredictable work commitments. Since that is their policy, you'd think there would be some type of leniency now and again, but their customer service is appalling. In one instance, there was an issue with the app that didn't allow me to check in before or after my class so it was incorrectly marked as a no show. I contacted customer support right away to get them to rectify it but they were not able to see the no show at the time, so they told me to contact them again at a later time. When I did, the person I spoke to (Daniela), refused to reverse the no show, accused me of lying and said based on my history, she can't reverse it and told me I had to pay extra to remove the block. The app was down this morning for hours so clearly there are bugs with the app but they refuse to take any responsibility or care for their customers. I would not continue with this app if I had another choice - the hassle to deal with the app, policies and support staff is not worth any money you might save.

Edit: spoke to another customer care person (Palmoa) and she helped me revert it right away. I don't know why only certain agents are helpful, I've wasted so much time on numerous occasions with staff that refuse to help.

Great concept terrible customer…

Great concept terrible customer service. Paused membership due to a broken bone but hadn’t recovered as quickly as I’d hoped so contacted them to request a further extension. After 9 days they eventually declined this saying only one pause allowed and no extensions which I think is very harsh as I have medical certificate but losing 9 days of use of any facilities due to the delayed response is also unfair imo so I requested extension of the time it took them to respond - declined by wellhub.

Well done great customer service - won’t be recommending you to anyone else now!!

Terrible customer swmervice

An absolute disgrace how this app operates. After years of being registered with them — first through my company back when it was Gympass, and later through a family member — they suddenly kicked me out, claiming I hadn’t done a check-in, which was completely false. Both the club where I was training and I myself sent them proof of the check-in, yet they still decided to throw me out. Years paying for their most expensive plan, the Diamond one, only to be treated like this. Truly shameful.

It had its time…

I used to love Gympass/Wellhub and have had over 300 check-ins to date. However, those good years are far gone.

The company is clearly profit-heavy and has shifted a lot of Gold companies into Platinum and Platinum companies into Diamond, which at nearly £200 a month really isn't worth it. They've also moved premium classes from 6 to each brand to 6 a month in total. And not to mention about the new penalty system...

The only reason to use this app is if you somehow have a niche gym that you go to and is on one of the cheaper plans.

The app interface is absolutely horrendous and so much harder now to find any gyms when the filters dont work properly nor access to a website (it's all ran via the app). Quite often, classes do not show as booked at the gym I attend. I also have partners marked under favourites that I cannot remove now despite them leaving the platform due to pop-ups such as "this partner isn't on the platform anymore" that won't let me do anything past that stage (such as remove them).

Lastly, I was charged two premium credits for a class I attended and then couldn't get a credit back, even though I pay for 6 premium credits a month. I had to chase this for about 3-4 months to just get something like £12 (or so, can't remember) back into my account.

Considering how everything is getting worse, I'd stay away from this plan. It's a shame it's gotten so bad now :(

I have been with WellHub for 1 week and…

I have been with WellHub for 1 week and there has been no end of problems and difficulties. I joined due to the availability of gyms close to my home. However, upon signing up and paying I was unable to access the facilities due to one provider stating they have not been affiliated with WellHub for 3 years and have asked multiple times to be removed and these requests have been ignored. I have also been unable to access The Gym Group due to issues with providing codes to new members. An issue has been raised and I await resolution. If services cannot be used then they shouldn't be advertised which is a clear breach of the consumer protection from unfair trading regulations 2008 'false or misleading information'

No instructions on what to do for first registration with The Gym Group... there is no human help available in the support section. Just FAQs which don't cover this issue.

Edited: my issue was looked into after I persisted with support. Not ideal and still waste of time. I expected it to work first time.

Gym Number

The number of Gyms you have at your finger tips is great and really helpful for keeping motivated due to life admin. Sometime it's just not possible to get to the gym near your usual place and you can just select the nearest place available and rock up. fantastic.

Flexible and Convenient. Works well for busy professionals.

I've been using WellHub for a month now and I really love it. The best part is the flexibility to attend any gym that is convenient. My schedule changes everyday with random times available between activities and meetings. I am able to schedule in gym time throughout the day.

Use it regularly

This used to be Gympass, and I really appreciate being able to use it when I travel. It's also helped me to access gyms I wouldn't be willing to pay for monthly because I can't go regularly, so I'm always glad that I can use this app. I also try to take advantage of the premium subscriptions available for the other health apps at my level.

Disappointing service

Disappointing service, I wanted to carry on using the Wellhub service which it states you can do after leaving my current company. I went in to change my email to my personal one as stated but could see my account was already locked. I explained all this to Ilaria in the customer service team and her response was a copy and paste response basically saying there was nothing they could do. After paying for the service for a few years I didn't expect to be met with a 'computer says no' approach. Absolutely gutted after the amount of people in my business I recommended to the service over the years.
