Amazing service and great quality!! We had our brand new fence from them and sleepers and delivery was great and smooth! Shout out to Adam for helping us arrange it all!

Good quality wood reasonably priced, delivery poor, it does say can’t guarantee delivery on the day you request, but when you order two weeks in advance, kind of expected to arrive on the book day, called on delivery date was told it would be delivered in the afternoon. Phone back late afternoon told it would be loaded on tonight and delivered first thing in the morning morning came and went called again told it would be delivered lunchtime still no delivery called back said it would be delivered ( lied to several times) , turned up 5.30 pm lost 2 days work waiting on delivery

Very disappointing experience. My delivery was 2 days late with absolutely no communication from Wern Works. I had to call 3–4 times myself and was repeatedly promised a call back with an update, but nobody ever called.

I also explained several times that my husband had just had surgery and couldn't help with unloading. Despite this, they sent one driver alone to deliver 11 extremely heavy 9ft concrete posts and with out any warning as well.Luckily, a neighbour was available to help — if I'd been on my own, there was no way I could have helped the driver unload them safely.

To make matters worse, some of the posts arrived chipped/damaged.

Delays can happen, but the lack of communication and poor organisation made the whole experience unnecessarily stressful. Very disappointing service.

I wrote a review on Wern Wood website telling the truth, somehow there have been able to erase it because I only gave one star and wrote about the lack of delivery. Then I get a phone call telling me they have cancelled my order.

Overall delivery on time and day as was set really helpful driver who help put all materials inside house not like many others who will just left materials on driveway and drive out . Unfortunately materials it’s self not best experience mainly plasterboards all was bend probably cuz poor storage support on bottom took 4 days on flat surface to fix bending one of plasterboards heavily damaged was send back unfortunately it’s over a week and still did they replacement or get charge back . Mix feeling of good and bad service can’t complain price good compare to other stores around give a bit more effort with storage sheets materials and could give 5*

Delivered with care and went above and beyond , delivered a day early too.. great value :)

Brilliant first time ordering for a feather edge fence.. out of 60 boards I think 2 were a bit iffy... And they delivered on Monday morning first thing. Can't fault them on price quality of the timber and delivery.. well done..

Ordered £400 worth of timber on the 17th July. Selected a delivery date of 23rd July (earliest that was available).

I emailed to check on the 22nd if the 23rd was going ahead. Revived an email from David confirming they were on schedule and if anything changes, they call to let me know.

23rd - waited until 16:30, rang the office. No news or delivery. Spoke to Dan to be informed it wasn’t coming but would definitely be the next day. No apology.

24th - rang the office at 11am to check if it was out for delivery, spoke to Dan, he confirmed it was. 15:00, still no delivery. Rang up, spoke to Dan, he took my number and said he’d call me with an update. 16:00 - no update, called back, Dan said “truck is still in west wales” but will call me back with and update. 17:00 no delivery or update. Called back again, Dan said “it will have to be Monday now” so sadly had to cancel the order and now have to source another supplier.

Job won’t be completed on time, no apology, have to wait 7 days for a refund. After being battered by sponsored posts on Facebook and WhatsApps/ emails… just isn’t good enough. I’m not being a d*ck, I just wanted to have a delivery when promised or communication at least. I got neither.

Disappointed!

Items arrived some of the studs were quite bent but did managed to use them.

Very impressed with Wern Wood. Very competitive pricing, good communication and a fab delivery service. Wood looks a good quality too. Would absolutely recommend.
