Product Details Collagen 23mm casings are the collagen casing equivalent of a ‘wide’ Sheep Casing. Ideal for a Breakfast type sausage, or premium sausage using Pork, Beef, or Game. Collagen Casings or ‘artificial 'casings are quick and easy to use. They are supplied dry and each ‘concertinaed’ rod will fill up to 12.5 metres of sausage. Simply cut a section and place over the nozzle of your stuffer. Each pack contains 4 x 12.5mtr Rods. Product Features - Calbre: 23mm. - 4 x 12.5 metre rods per pack. - 1 x 50 metre pack. - Use straight out of the pack. - Makes a traditional breakfast-type sausage.

Just the job for home made sausages

Great product, came fast and was easy to order with apple pay.
Why did it take me so long to make my own? With an inch or so of the collagen skin fitted over the tube of my kitchen aid sausage attachment, my chilled, seasoned, minced meat (pork shoulder and belly) into the mincer and away! I even remembered how to twist them from a demonstration on generation game in the 70’s 😂 I didn’t use any rusk as wanted to max the protein, one batch seasoned with sweet smoked paprika and garlic, the other with sage plus ‘sea grown’ every day seasoning from Scarborough. Cooked in a frying pan over a gentle medium heat, the only burst happened in the one I pricked.
First time I've tried these collagen casings rather than natural middles. Was a bit reticent as I'd read that the texture was not as good. But I am impressed. Easy to fill, cook & bite is perfect and of course will store easily. Excellent product.

A great stand by for when you run out of natural casings
Bought for use with kitchen aid sausage attachment. When I read the instructions properly. i.e no need to soak in water they worked really well. I just need to get my technique better. Since have bought slightly bigger ones and Cumberland sausage spice mix which was really nice. Would definitely use the company again
First time with these casings, they are fine except I bout some that were too small. maybe it was me but not 100%happy with them.
