£8k in shares within WeShop, and they deleted my account without warning. DO NOT USE, the shares you earn will never be yours.

They took my shares, I had nearly £6,000 worth in my account. They closed my account without any notice and removed all of my shares, just because I havn't logged in for a while! Terrible!

I would give a zero star but this isnt possible.

They tereminated my account and stole all the shares I built up.

Total scam, prob will never get on the stock exchange

Weshop - What has happened to the website and all the media platforms? They arent working which makes me think they have binned us off and it was all a con... I have used the site from the start and no emails to inform of any outages but lots of emails trying to get me to use the site.

I’ve been using WeShop for several weeks. The app is stable, purchases track correctly, and rewards appear after a reasonable wait. Support is helpful and professional. Overall, the platform functions reliably and is a legitimate option for online shopping rewards.

Had £11k of shares in January down to £500 odd now and only going get worse waste time when u can sell in Nov 26 thay be worth a few pence each

Put about 7k through this ap half my shares have disappeared now worth approximately £300 total con but bet someone got rich

WeShop is not what it’s advertised. False. Misleading and mis-sold to all. Advertised as a share-back, allowing users to buy purchased but never honouring the person to cash in. Avoid!!

Made purchases a couple years ago based on the share rewards scheme promised. As the years went by, found they made it near impossible to actually sell said shares. Now that they’re listed, tried to log back in to see if I’d finally be able to sell the shares only to find my account’s been deleted. Had about £700 worth of shares, so definitely got scammed.

Had balance of over £4,600. Company changed terms of conditions so thousands of people would lose there accounts and money so they could steal our shares. Look at reviews on trust pilot. They have had to turn comments off across social media because of their deception. Celebrities that once endorsed them no longer do. Do not be scammed by this company!

Don’t waste your time
Stick to traditional cash back. They’ll spam you with useless marketing comms yet won’t give any prior reminder that your account has been inactive for a period (which is apparently in their t&cs) and will delete your account. They seem to forget the moving goalposts from when most / may members signed up - the lock in before being able to cash out etc etc yet expect members to continue to blindly accrue via the app to avoid losing the hundreds or thousands of pounds they’d previously “banked”.

You’re lining your own pockets at the expense of everyday people. Stick to regular investing, or cash back apps or simply anything but this

Scam.
Opened an account based off a figure on insta who stated this was not a scam and she uses it to gain cash back and cash out after a year. This was not the case. Have had an account for over 2 years and checked regularly after the first year my withdrawal options. Not possible, the shares have to be on the market and they never were and now I’m assuming due to inactivity they have closed my account. What a waste of time. Will never use again

This platform was made out to be a game changer in using it for your purchases you’d earn money back that you could withdraw. Personally I’d built up your around £1100 in money which isn’t the greatest amount, but not only we had to wait a year for it to confirm, they then decided to put it on the stock market which means our actual money was transferred into shares, no option to decline this, we now have to wait ANOTHER year to sell the shares. With today’s share price my once £1100 is now £234 a reducing daily. I wouldn’t waste your time it’s nothing short of a con. Even how you earn shares has drastically reduced it used to be a flat 5-10% now it’s closer to 0.8% on majority of things. DONT BOTHER!

My account and shares have been deleted. I have tried to login and my account isn’t recognised. After reading all the reviews I can see it’s been deleted without no notice and that is a scam. Do not use this app it is a waste of time

Spent years waiting for my shares.

Finally listed as an IPO November 2025, apparently can't sell till November 2026. Pathetic.

To all please be aware of this what I believe to be a scam at WeShop.
I didn't use my account since Sept 2025 due to illness and as a result my account has been closed with the lost of over £3500 in shares. Please be aware of the terms of service Ref 15.2
(d) your Account is inactive for more than 3 months. Account Owner/Account is defined as inactive if at least one of the following actions is not completed within a rolling 3 month period: You would have thought they would inform you the account is being closed. Well they dont.
I have email WeShop at customer.relations.uk@we.s??p To which they said basely its tuff.
Disgraceful and very unprofessional company.

Absolute con! Shares not available for a 1 year period to begin with and then even after that I have had no luck in selling my shares and now account deleted as didnt log in within 3 months, probably never would've gotten my cashback anyway, I would 100% recommend Topcashback! Have gotten over £1000 back with them, with no fuss at all

Scam.

Much like others, I had almost £1000 worth of shares after booking holidays and furniture through the company. Now it’s dropped to £50 and not even a way to cash that out. Don’t waste your time

Total scam. I accumulated hundreds of points and they moved a goal post to November 2026. The shares dramatically reduced in price. Save yourself time, stress and money and use a cashback website, the wait is a few months but at least you will see your money!!!

Same as most people on here - originally waited the 1 year period to cash out my shares, then to be told that wasn't possible so they just sat there. Now my account has been deleted due to their new inactivity policy which was not applicable when I set up my account and I did not consent to. £3000 lost - regulators need to look at this utter scam of a company.
