We hire a PA system and battery uplighter for our wedding. Alex was very quick to respond to our enquiry and tweaked the quote to suit our needs perfectly.
Alex provided everything we needed and was on the end of the phone if we had any queries.
We would not hesitate to recommend or hire from Alex again.

I had an emergency last minute need for a PA system and lights. Shopped around and other companies pushed prices up, realising the desperate need. Alex at Wessex sounds dropped everything to help. Quote was much less, which also included delivery and set up. If it wasn’t for them, my charity event could not have gone ahead. I can’t recommend them enough.

Alex helped us through the process of getting the correct projector, sound system and screen for showing a movie in our village hall in East Boldre. We collected the equipment from their warehouse, easy to find and great communication. The event was a great success and we can highly recommend Wessex Sound Hire, we will use them again for our next one.

Very efficient - sets everything up for our event and picks it up later. Everyone at the event could hear clearly - in fact the whole town until we adjusted the volume!

I contacted Wessex Sounds to see if I could hire some microphones for school production. This was quite last minute but they worked efficiently and managed to sort our request! Communication was clear and quick. they recommended what microphones would be best and they did not disappoint, they were perfect for what we needed. Equipment was easy to work and the quality was fantastic. We will definitely be using them next year.

We used WSH to livestream a family funeral during the Covid-19 restrictions. I have to say that every aspect of it was outstanding. Alex was very professional both technically and in his manner. The live-stream was in HD, the sound quality was actually clearer than that physically in the church. It was viewed live by over 20 relatives worldwide, all were unable to attend due to Covid-19. All commented on the (HD) quality and the ease of use. The relatives also mentioned how much comfort they took from watching the funeral live. I would certainly recommend Wessex Sound Hire for live-streaming.

I have been working in the music business for sometime, working with signed and unsigned acts and have dealt with a few sound engineers. I have never had such a relaxed sound engineer on sight who had everything in the palm of his hand, even though it was organised kayos my end.
