Ordered a new Milwaukee tool from them orignally they emailed to say the item wasn’t in stock but will be back in stock in 2-5 days then dispatched. Then a week goes by and I recieve another email saying they are due my product back in stock in 3 months and they will dispatch it when it arrives!!! Obviously I asked for a refund as that’s far to long to wait and they replied saying they will process the refund. 1 month later still no refund so I email them asking where my refund is. They replied saying they are processing it now and it should be with me within the next 2-3 days. 2 weeks later still no refund. Sent them another email and no reply !!! Avoid this company at all costs they are either scammers or very incompetent at what they do.
Absolutely shocking experience with West Base Direct.
I’ve used them regularly for electrical fixtures, but this will be the last time. My recent order arrived missing switches, and despite clearly not receiving them, they keep insisting that everything was delivered.
No resolution, no accountability, and refusing to refund or even properly investigate. Just repeated responses telling me I’ve received items that I physically do not have.
For a company I’ve spent a lot of money with, this is beyond disappointing. Losing a loyal customer over something so simple to resolve says everything about how they treat their customers.
Would not recommend.

Had great experience with this company so far. Anything that has taken a little longer to get hold of, they have informed me straight away and done their best to get it out to me as quick as possible. Have used multiple times and will continue to do so. Very reasonably priced goods, delivered quickly with great customer service

My parcel was delivered by Royal Mail on Saturday morning which was great as I wasn’t expecting it until Tuesday after the Bank holiday.

Ordered an item on the website, waited over a week for delivery, chased them and they said sorry had no stock. I said fine cancel the order and issue refund... nearly a month later having to chase again for refund. £130 order to wait over a month for a refund is a joke... wouldn't use them again
Order not processed in timescale stated on the website- only after ringing in several days later, was order progressed. The process of getting through to someone was extremely time consuming as multiple calls went straight to V/mail. I was intending to order some Kidde CO Alarms advertised on website - however when I clicked through the price was much higher.
Items delivered on time and correctly. Happy with quality of items.

Very good service from West Base, alarms came well packaged, all in working order. Kept informed of my despatch. However, poor delivery service from Royal Mail, came a day later than informed on tracking. Do not use Royal Mail, change to a different courier.

Some of the items in my order were not in stock despite being listed as such on the website. I even called the morning before making my way to the store for collection and I was told everything was available for collection. After driving for more than an hour and waiting for 30mins i was informed some of the items were not in stock. Then the refund wasn't issued automatically, i had to chase it up.
The customer service both on the phone and store is very poor.
