Absolutely LOVED our experience today, what a fantastic time we had! The animals are all incredible. My friend and I were lucky to walk 2 of the babies with the best characters ♡ I loved Bertie! The home made cakes topped it off, they were so tasty with eggs from the farm! Lisa the owner is a wonderful woman and so friendly, made the experience very special and personable 🧡 cant wait to go back very soon!!

This is a truly wonderful experience for all ages. The alpacas are calm and easy to lead. The staff are wonderful and informative. You can see how loved and well looked after the alpacas are. I loved this experience and will most definitely be doing it again. A special activity which would be lovely for families with young children.

Visited the farm for the second time over bank holiday weekend. Had an amazing time, was so fun walking the alpacas and seeing how well they were looked after. Would definitely visit again!!

Spent a lovely afternoon here meeting and walking Alpacas, also petting the donkeys, horses, goats and meeting the gorgeous farm dogs/cats. What a totally unique experience with friendly and knowledgeable hosts. What beautiful animals.

If you love alpacas and would like a unique experience in the most idyllic setting visit Westlieth Alpaca’s. I guarantee one visit will not be enough. Meet and greet not only the darling alpacas each with their own individual personalities but the ponies, goats, donkeys and the rest of the gang. After a walk with the boys enjoy a cuppa and slice of cake taking in this beautiful location. Will be back again very very soon. Thank you Lisa an absolute joy x

If you want a special day out, meeting many alpaca & also a variety of rescued & farm bred animals who are greatly cared for by an incredible, friendly knowledgeable team then look no further. I cannot recommend West Leith farm more highly

Amazing memories! What a wonderful place to go to find peace friendship and connection with the animals, the surrounding countryside and the lovely folk who run the farm. Lisa and Di were so very thoughtful in all their interactions on two very different visits.Great experience with grand daughter on the alpaca walk … pack animals show us a lot about getting on together in the world & caring for each other! I think the way Lisa & Di showed such care & sensitivity on second visit with my disabled friend J was outstanding - he is still over the moon because a beautiful old white cat (Tewy?) sat on his knee through almost the entire experience even while the animals were brought to him. As a psychiatric nurse, now retired, I think the therapy value & connection of joy with the whole experience has been amazing . My grand daughter was full of joy & my friend is so much brighter in spirits and looking forward already to a return visit. I loved it all too 🤸🏽‍♂️Happy memories all round thank you Lisa & Di & animals. Happy farm and visitors! 😊

My daughter and son in law bought me the Alpaca walk as a birthday gift. My daughter and I walked Andy and absolutely loved this cheeky boy. The whole experience was a joy especially with Lisa and her helpers being so welcoming and knowledgeable. I don’t live locally sadly but would certainly be there frequently if I did ! The Alpacas are beautiful and the other animals too especially Walter the goat . Just a wonderful couple of hours

Lisa was an amazing host and it was lovely to hear the history of West Leith Farm. The alpacas were so lovely and calming to be around. We had a really lovely couple of hours at the farm and got to meet all the animals. I would highly recommend this for anyone especially those looking for a relaxing, chilled activity.

I booked this as a treat for myself. Lisa and her team were very friendly and knowledgeable and the experience felt personal and relaxing. It was lovely to meet Lord Nelson, Rolo, Andy and of course Alan! Nelson was a gentleman to walk with! The farm is lovely and I enjoyed meeting the other animals and seeing the baby alpacas. I had a lovely cream tea after! Highly recommended and I will make a return visit

We’re huge lovers of alpacas so not hard to enjoy this experience.
Farm has other animals-horses, donkeys and goats but it is the alpacas that steal the show and at the time of visit there were both adults and more recent arrivals.
Fun day, lots of photo opportunities and we suggest you go for the cream tea option after

Just incredible! Lisa is an incredible host and her warmth and passion is amazing! The animals are amazing and we had the most amazing time. We will definitely visit again!

We had a wonderful day at the farm walking with the alpacas who are so gentle and curious. Their coat is so soft and the whole experience is very calming and magical. it was an experience I shall remember. I also loved meeting the other animals on the farm so close up. Some are rescue animals and now living a happy life. The baby alpacas were particularly adorable and very affectionate. Lisa and the ladies very friendly and lovely tea and cake.
What a day!

Had an amazing day with the alpacas aswell as the rest of the animals here. This is the 2nd alpaca farm I’ve visited and the the differences were unreal. It was evident early on that caring for the animals is very important to Lisa and her team and the site had a very family vibe to it. The whole experience including coffee and cake ( cake was amazing ) took around 2 hours. Nothing felt rushed or overly commercialized. The history and personality regarding Every animal was explained. Both myself and my partner left feeling very happy. We chose Rollo and Alan to walk with although lord nelson and Andy also accompanied us.
Got myself a mug and two key rings from the little gift shop. I would definitely come
Back here and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit an Alpaca farm. Lisa also has this amazing yarn made from alpaca wool which probably was the softest material I’ve ever held

Such a magical hidden valley so close to Tring made the day extra special. The alpacas are adorable and so well kept, you really do get up close to them.
Fully recommend for a family day , great place for all ages. Safe parking and toilet on site.Tea,coffee and cakes were included.
Other animals to see on farm include, pigmy goats, donkeys,horses,sheep,chickens and geese..

I would highly recommend this experience to absolutely anyone who enjoys animals and the countryside.
We won an Alpaca Walking Experience and enjoyed it last week.
The staff at West Leith Farm are so welcoming and friendly. There is an assortment of animals on the farm, many of which have been rescued. You can see the love and care that goes into each one and how they have recovered and blossomed since arriving at West Leith Farm. It is the most beautiful location for them to feel safe and nurtured.
The alpacas are completely gorgeous and, while they are wary at first, it does not take long to bond with them and then take them for a walk.
They are the softest, most gentle animals and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with them.
Lisa gave us so much information on the farm and it's animals and we met each of them and enjoyed their different personalities.
She also showed us the different types of fleece and explained what they do with it and talked of her future hopes of spinning it herself.
The weather was very good to us, a slightly chill breeze but no rain. We enjoyed every second of our visit and would definitely visit again.
The farm offer various options for visits and any of them would make a fabulous gift for someone or a treat for yourself.
The staff are the most lovely, caring ladies who are visibly passionate about their work with caring for the animals but also offering a very good relaxing and therapeutic experience to their human visitors.
There is a small 'shop' where you can buy a little souvenir or a pot of honey or greetings card with hand-drawn pictures of the resident alpacas.
You can also enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and cake at the end of your experience.
This was a great 'feel-good' experience. We smiled the whole time we were there - and for hours afterwards. We have some great photos which bring back those smiles and the most enjoyable memories.
