Helpful , supportive staff and processes . Obviously could have got more money elsewhere but for ease and straightforwardness it was worth it …

Upgrading our company vans and sold our old ones to these guys. Process straight forward, honesty on both sides and everything upfront.
Initial quoted price online was halved during process but we expected this as the vans were well used. Final price was fair.

Received an online valuation of £14281. Booked a video review which seemed to go well (only damage was paint scuffs on two wheels which I pointed out). A few hours later received a phone call saying the car wasn't very popular (Honda E) and the best they could offer was £11,000 - surely this should have been taken into account in the online valuation. Sold to competitor same day for £13720.

Dorothy Harcus Opened dialogue with we want any car via me for personal reasons that are not for public airing at this time, to sell car MG6
6 SE GT DTi
Silver
1.9 Ltr Diesel
52081 miles
MOT to June 25.
NB: everyone I dealt with on the phone was pleasant and receptive; they were doing their jobs.
WWAC Gave us a price which was less than half of what we paid for it in Feb 24. Took us through all the video procedure and considered every minute mark hardly noticeable before reaching a price almost half of their first one. Backwards and forwards with the video procedure and awaiting our V5, it arrived this morning. Video procedure again to take snapshot before they sent a message that the sale was cancelled because the V5 showed the registered keeper as having the car less than 3 months and it didn't fit their security remit, despite us being the legal OWNERS since Feb 24. They suggested we wait and resubmit the car in 3 months. (Why wasn't this made clear before our time was wasted?) Motorway is 6 months so it seems these companies won't entertain you unless you've been the registered keeper for 3 to 6 months. This is basically discriminating against genuine sellers who, like ourselves, have only just registered as new keeper, despite being the owners. No doubt, the price will probably plummet to scrap value IMO... It's a racket? Only use these creatures if you're desperate for pennies or haven't got the time and fuss of a private sale with all the advertising. In answer to WWAC re reference number. All the correspondence details and messages have been deleted from my devices as I won't deal with them again.
My personal opinion of all these type of car buyers is that they'd only be useful if you had a relatively new vehicle in absolute showroom condition without the tiniest mark and even then, you'd probably get a much lower price than if you sold privately.
I've given we want any car all the details they need to look into this. The ref number they want no longer exists on my devices but the fact they have the name of the owners, the name of the person opening the dialogue the car reg and make and model is more than sufficient. Trust pilot sent me an email with a veiled threat that my review may be taken down in 2 days if WWAC doesn't get the details they want. Seems this review has rubbed a little nerve. Everything here is factual and WWAC has more than enough details to find the details of the correspondence.
Update: I've just rummaged through my refuse bin and guess what... I wrote down the ref number. 8746199. Now WWAC really have all they need.
Given we're possibly dodgy and suspect by motorway and WWAC, given the replies and phone conversations, here's the history of our ownership. Our son and his partner needed a car and in a tight spot. We helped them out by giving our son money for a car. My son doesn't drive so the sale was between his partner, as the registered keeper, paid for through our son's account and autohouse (shafi Ltd). It was always clear that we were the legal owners. After a relationship breakdown we asked for the car back and his ex partner either purposely or out of ignorance, transferred registered keeper to his name, which meant we had to sorn the car then transfer again to my wife's name then sorn again; hence the number of registered keepers with the mileage not changing over those 2 changes as the car hasn't been used. What a palarver when there's no real need for all the cloak and dagger nonsense.
Update: WWAC left me a phone message to resolve the situation. I returned the call and was told a manager feedback call would follow. No call took place. I queried it and was promised another call. No callback took place. Is this incompetence or a windup?😄
Update: 24/08/24. Another text message from these clowns. "Hi. Sorry we were unable to help you sell your vehicle..." So which is it? *We can buy your car... We can't buy your car... Oh yes we want your car, oh sorry, we don't want your car* 🤣🤣
Saved and screenshot all the phone convos and messages for a massive online exposure. They want us to revisit them in the future for a re-evaluation. Guess I was right... With each visit the price gets nibbled down. Seriously, folks... Leave this gang alone. 😄
NB: Might have been cheaper to buy it rather than suffer the loss of future custom via negative reviews that are online forever? 😄
Update: Email from Ben.Horan @coxautoinc.com wanting to know about selling the car re trustpilot replies. Now I'm totally lost. Who the Hell are these people? Never heard of them. Is this a scam?
Update 6th Sept 24
Seems this Ben works for WWAC and wants to buy the car.... Again... 🤣
This company really is beyond abysmal. Don't any of them talk to each other? I bet if I contacted them, they'd say they don't want it again. 🤣🤣

Having tried some of the other "We Buy" type competitors their "offer" was noticeably better even though "unseen" I knew I would be knocked down a lot at "Inspection". However, the final figure was noticeably better then others. Person on the phone doing the data and picture details was very approachable and confidence inspiring. BIG bonus is no silly processing fees off the bottom line and ther paid immediately unlike some competitors.

Overall quick and easy but they did drop down by £600 for a couple of scratches on a 19 year old car. No allowances for wear and tear.
Collection was super easy though

While I did not end up selling my car to we want any car, I did want to mention the customer service. I dealt with a gent called John Hills, who could not have been more professional, helpful and courteous throughout the entire process and conversations. He was excellent to deal with. I didn’t sell my car as the online price to that of the valuation was significantly lower and I had a better offer elsewhere, but I could not fault the customer service.

Absolute brilliant service craig was excellent in every single way will definitely use these again best offer i had and they came and collected my vehicle the following day

In the start was an ok experience untill it came to collection day! To start with the knocked £500 off the original offer due to a few scuffs and part service history, but I accepted this offer for convenience. I was called back 10 minutes later and the car was booked in for collection 3 days later… fast forward to Monday, my collection was booked in for between 1pm-5pm, at 4:25 I emailed the company as I hadn’t had a call to say the team where on their way and hadn’t recieved the link to input my bank details. I was called at 4:30 and told the whole transport team had gone down and they were waiting till last minute to tell me this as they were hoping somebody could still come, I had booked the afternoon off work costing me over £100 and had sat round all afternoon waiting. The lady then asked if she could reschedule the collection for Wednesday, I don’t think so…. You lost my trust by “leaving it till last minute” to tell me that nobody had any intention of collecting the car on Monday! I will not be selling to these now and will be taking my car elsewhere. They have cost me over £100 worth of pay and 4 hours of my time for nothing.
