Overcrowded, claustrophobic, noisy, slow network. The few call booths are all busy, while the vast majority of the offices are empty and locked. Ventilation sucks, AC is running at a bare minimum.

Best global office solution for frequent travelers

I considered plenty of global coworking solutions. WeWork remains the best solution given that:
1. A ton of different locations are available across the globe
2. It's (to my knowledge) the only option in this price range which gives you 24/7 access to properties with their global access membership. All others only give you access during office hours (9-5) which is not enough (depending on your profession).

However, as soon as you reach a team of 15+ employees, I recommend you switch to a proper office (price per sqm is a LOT better if you aren't in the WeWork network).

I had a simple question and still not answered

I had a simple question "Is there a mailbox outside the office at Stadhouderskade 5 in Amsterdam?".
After calling their only phone number I choose option 1 which was the only option which responded.
I could not get a good answer on my question so I have sent my question from their website. The only response I got was a sales email to to entice me into a lease contract.

WeWork changes name to WeJerk

This company should have went out of business when they fired the founder/CEO. I was a tenant in Chicago on Wabash for 4 years until they screwed me and breached the terms of my lease so they could kick me out and sell my office to someone else for more money. Their solution was to put me in a closet. Dishonest, disorganized and diabolical sums up the leadership of this organization.

Reps unhelpful and violently unstable!!

My team is paying a very high monthly rent for an office, so one would assume that decent service would follow. But I can honestly say I have never dealt with a more unprofessional, rude, and frankly immature staff in my life.

We were allowed to sign a renewal on our contract only to be informed later that we will be moved to a new location, none of the moving charges would be covered and no arrangements would be made. Despite the fact that the contract was clearly broken, we endeavoured to cooperate but continued to receive little help with the move. Confirmation from their end took so long we kept losing openings with movers.

When I called the representative to ask why our move was yet again being rejected to stick to their ridiculously close time frame, the rep cut me off. I asked them to please not interrupt and let me finish my sentence, at which point they raised their voice and started banging their hands on the table. Frustrated, I raised my voice in the hope that they would hear me over their complaints that they “worked for a whole week” (their usual work week). They then started crying and hung up.

This has been the reaction I and my colleagues have received, constantly being hung up on mid-sentence. I am honestly dumbfounded and speechless. I wouldn’t trust WeWork as far as I can throw them. If there were a lower rating than 1, that is what I would give. Absolutely zero support and customer service, and now totally unstable behaviour to top it all off! I wish I had heeded the warnings about WeWork’s now infamously bad reputation. I can’t wait for us to get out of here!

I am in the Canary Wharf branch

I am in the Canary Wharf branch. The WiFi is unstable and stops intermittently. It doesn't matter if you work in web browsers, but if you are a developer like me, it causes ssh sessions to drop. It's incredibly annoying.

LAUREN DARNELL - Terrible sales experience

On my tour with Lauren she was extremely arrogant and phony. When my company asked about the free month promotion she told me that was no longer available. However, that was not the case. We had to fight tooth and nail to get what was offered online and she didn’t even think to apologize. Would not recommend WeWork with people like her in the field.

So far so good

we are working in Wework San Mateo. So far so good, space, coffee, milk... BUT a little bit expensive, you have to use credits if you book a meeting room or work in other wework offices.

I'm an all-access member

I'm an all-access member, working completely remotely. I'm on the discount now but was planning to pay full price. It's really, really not worth it. Most of the all-access spaces are essentially a few desks or tables in the lobby/basement of a building. There's usually a coffee machine and comfortable couches and nice decor, but it's often very noisy, and it's hard to get serious work done. I'd pay maybe 150£ for it per month, because it's nice to get out of the house. 300+£ for this is wayy too much. It's not much better than working at a coffee shop, and it's way way more expensive.

Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Booked a meeting room through the app. Paid £600 outright. Notified that all was fully refundable if cancelled 24 hours before booking. Tried to cancel through app 4 days before booking. Not possible error messages. Emails customer service through app. No response. Calls 3 days before booking date. Customer Service agent unable to refund has to speak with IT dept. Will email back. Nothing. No refund. Terrible customer service

The worst service I have seen till now…

The worst service I have seen till now from a shared office space company.
In the WeWork office at Atrium Amsterdam Zuid on the 6th floor we have two unnecesarry doors blocking the hall way. I asked few months back what the purpose is and why they can't be removed or at least kept open all the time. Till today I didn't get a proper answer.
The 4th and 5th floor are exactly the same and they don't have those doors.
Second annoying thing is that every door opens with a key. I asked why we don't have what every office has? A keycard or token to open the door. Answer: You can have that but pay us 3000 Euro. Very sad, Regus and Spaces don't ask extra for this.

And then the toilets, they are filthy most of the times.

Awful customer service from the Leasing Team.

We’ve had a truly awful experience with the WeWork Leasing team, and it’s hard to express how demoralizing and frustrating the experience has been working with them. It’s felt like a genuinely predatory experience. They went weeks without responding to our requests to move out, only to then inform us we didn’t give advanced notice. Well, the reason we weren’t able to give advanced notice is because we were ignored for weeks on end (including 5 emails in a row). I can’t warn others enough to avoid WeWork. It’s incredibly costly and there are so many other great local options won’t extort you and leave you feeling defeated and betrayed.

Wework in Holborn

Wework in Holborn: Absolutely ridiculous. We are paying for 12 people hot desks, but every time they come to move us, saying that there is no hot desk anywhere.

So we literally pay to get inside, but have nowhere to work at.

Horrible service experience

Horrible service experience, extra charges not agreed and never returned, delay without notice for collateral deposit return ( 2 months delay and I am still waiting) and more!

I sent an email to the CEO of Latin America explaining all the situation, the result: email never answered!
If the CEO doesn't care about their clients, imagine their Team.

I definitely do not recommend WeWork.
