Overcrowded, claustrophobic, noisy, slow network. The few call booths are all busy, while the vast majority of the offices are empty and locked. Ventilation sucks, AC is running at a bare minimum.

Used their paddington office
Used their paddington office. Its ok. Can get noisy at times although do find the companies that are there are pretty interesting. Would prefer to have more storage in the fridges
Wework-- Austin Congress office

This wework is becoming poor, both on space price and on the service they provide. Don't let the visual vibe fool you while what they can offer is poor. The common area beverage options are down-graded to just water, poor coffee and constantly not available clean forks. The service desk people are very opinionated on what weekly-events they should hold. And the popular free events are always reserved for people who are friends with the front desk. The AC temperatures never is right inside the room. And the key-ed offices and cabinets are usually with cranky keys. Printing apps not working on laptops and printing at printers are PDFs only. I would say wework is going down-hill pretty quickly. Would rather prefer cubical office space over wework if my company switches!
It is a shame that I have to give at…
It is a shame that I have to give at least one star to WeWork.
Have been suffering the noisy office environment, rude and helpless staff, poor maintenance, unstable wifi connection and endless mice issue etc.. today, received another piece of astonishing news by a very usual announcement
"Hello Paddington, we have a couple of building updates for you. The 6th floor bathrooms have running water but not hot water... ... For those weekend workers please be aware the all meeting rooms will be locked over the weekends going forward... ..."
I received this piece of announcement on Thursday afternoon. When I have already booked the meeting room for this coming Saturday.
The change of rules in using the meeting room is messed up with other maintenance update. No professionalism at all.
When I sign up the contract, I have been assured that I can use all the facilities anytime. This is very important to my business as my clients often come to visit us on Saturdays.
Our company has been using the meeting rooms in the past 15 months until now, they just put up a little note for such a significant policy change for no reason.
It seems that nobody from WeWork ever understands what does CONTRACT mean.
I have been working in property industry for eight years in the UK and I cannot believe WeWork use these giant babies without any acknowledge /skills of management to look after thousands of companies.
When someone lies to you and does all the means to sweet you up and push you to sign the contract, and then change the face to bully you after you signing up, it is called nothing else but FRAUD.
Just keep away from WeWork if you wish your business goes well.
Noisy environment to work in
Noisy environment, the office in Poultry London had roughly 70 people standing around waiting for breakfast to open at about 10am. Then they turned on the music which made it even worse. The group of us got up and left! Not a good place to work if you are hot desking.
On a plus note, the coffee was good.
Great place
Great place, always a fun place to work with lots of people who are there to work too
they were great when they first came to…
they were great when they first came to the UK. but their office spaces (in particular london), are completely oversubscribed! they often run out of supplies, and their beer taps never seem to be working. What am i paying so much money for?! Wont be renewing and giving in our current notice
Awful - never ever use WeWork
Awful. They tried to help somewhat when we were first there. Hiked the rents up forcing us to leave for a larger office at a significant saving.
Once we left some post arrived. Collected it the first time waiting for the redirect to kick in. I asked if I could pick it up daily for the short time until this happened. Would not help find a solution just returned all post to sender.
Whilst there the internet was down for a week. They bought pizza everyday. My team could not work from the office but the pizza was expected to make it better. The money we would have lost that week could have bought a pizza shop had we not managed to find external solutions.
It’s noisy. It’s unclean (really unclean). Fixtures and fittings are cheap and break a lot.
Staff are rude and self entitled. The place is like a cult.
It’s not set up for functioning businesses. If you run a start up and want everyone to see you doing it it’s the place for you.
I’d avoid this place at all costs. Spend more if you need to. Just don’t do it.
Possible fraud and unprofessional…
Possible fraud and unprofessional staffs at Wework Suthi, Bangkok branch.
A friend of mine attended a meeting at Wework Suthi branch 1 month after its opening. He leaned on a glass whiteboard and weirdly it cracked. There's no CCTV in the area but he informed the front desk, offering to help paying for the damage in which 2 months later he was surprised to received a bill for USD1,200 with no breakdown of detail.
The next day me and my friend went down to Wework for a meeting to clarity the detail. The operation and community managers simply said the detail was confidential and the reason for high price was because the material was "imported". I requested to see the cracked whiteboard only to find out that the brand is "Thai Whiteboard", a local brand manufactured in Thai (i.e. NOT IMPORTED)
I called on the spot the supplier number engraved on the whiteboard to which the supplier replied in speaker phone that they have supplied to Wework and the cost was USD500 only, including the installation.
The Wework managers rudely and illogically accused us and the supplier of misrepresentation of the product and vowed to provide us with breakdown of the cost which shall show that the USD1,200 is made entirely of that particular whiteboard.
A week later these Wework managers emailed us the breakdown that showed USD1,200 comprised of USD500 and the rest of USD700 to be "management fee and Misc" from Wework. I'm surprised they had the audacity to make up the balance amount as "management fee and Misc" as they did nothing professionally to solve the issue or to facilitate us to justify the management fee of eye brow raising rate of 68% (seriously, industrial rate for management fee is 2-3%). On top of that, there were no apology for providing false information or false accusation against us.
Clearly, the Wework culture in this Suthi Bangkok branch (or Wework as a whole? We cannot comment on that yet) is flawed. From this incident, we can see how untrained, unprofessional, unethical, questionable financials, and desperate the company is.
Desperate enough to make a profit out of an accident in such disgraceful manner I have ever seen. Hopefully relevant authority will look into its corporate governance.
A generally good working environment…
A generally good working environment but the quality varies greatly from location to location
Ungracious Community "Manager"
A very ungracious and offensive community "manager" at Yunnan Rd., Shanghai Branch. Slander me for smoking in the restroom, with the only evidence "smoking alarm went on", without checking if I even have a lighter or cigarette on me. Then went straight to our office and WARN us not to smoke in the restroom, without confront me with solid proofs. Also, invalidated my access card, truly "professional" stuff here
This company will soon be in bankruptcy!
My daughter and her husband's family were in process of contracting with wework for prime office space in OH.
They have totally stopped all negotiations with wework after seeing financial terms
The old mafioso would love to run this business.
Rates at per day cost but terms of 6 mos or longer.
THis company will soon be in bankruptcy...
It has been a good experience so far
The offices in Elephant and Castle have been so helpful; not only in terms of its location but the air of ambition that’s swirling within the offices. It really is infectious. The workspace has provide me with the opportunity to network with people that I may not have ordinarily crossed paths with and this has opened up potential business opportunities (fingers crossed). Here’s hoping that these offices continue to stick around and support the great entrepreneurs of tomorrow for years to come.
THIS PLACE IS A A GOD SEND
Rude and Obnoxious Front Desk
Rude, obnoxious "manager" at the North Bridge Road, Singapore branch. Wanted to enquire about a space but was greeted with the most obnoxious, unprofessional young girl who'd probably gotten her inspiration from type casted receptionists in some B movies. The thought of a potential client being greeted by her sends chills. Obviously, we looked somewhere else.
WeNotFlexibleWork space
The WeWork concept of being a flexible work space for growing businesses is a fraud. Was required to give 2 3/4 months notice for a one year lease. I went to give notice to the front desk at the beginning of the month, they said I had to send a formal email. Sent the formal email and after a week was told we had to provide 60 days notice to move out. Our lease is up in 56 days, so therefore they get an extra months rent. Not a partnership and complete lack of business skills to comprehend what a bad business practice this is. Fool us once your fault...won't fool us again! Good by WeWork, we will grow without you. #WedontWork
DO NOT WORK with this "company"
They have no any respect to a "customer". No listening, force their price, their contract terms, their laws in an unacceptable and agressive way. WEdon't recommand at all this "provider", there are a lot of ones far much better and less expensive.
wework should discover what means "WE" as it's not "I" !!!!!
Helpless and rude staff
Helpless and rude staff. Changed their face immidiately after you signed up. Giant babies with no professional skills but look after hundreds of companies.
Be careful of their terms and conditions. Never commit to any long lease with WeWork. You cannot terminate the contract. You cannot down-size.
Don't trust any sales from WeWork. They say anything to trick you in and then you will never see them again afterwards. WeWork grows too fast without proper training.
The most horrible thing is that you pay over £1,000 for a desk in a private office with glass partitions only. WeWork then sell loads of hot desks. You have no privacy and no way to concentrate on your work. All you can is to enjoy the loud music, loud phone calls, loud laughs from WeWork giant babies.
No response
I want to rent a room for a business event but no one responds to me! I've left 2 emails/ messages and tried to ring (which just rang out)... will be looking elsewhere.
