AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!! Company has been down since summer so impossible to cancel but still taking payment and do not respond to messages. According to the homepage they are set to relaunch soon. If and when they do, I implore anyone reading this to not under any circumstances sign up unless you want a forever subscription, no way of contacting them and for them to continue taking money despite providing no services.

I've been a subscriber to Virtuoso, now WhatClass, for many years and I really value a lot of the content; one highlight was they had an amazing call with Amy Payne giving transparency in running labels, another highlight is the workforce class which is truly one of the best I've seen on any tutorial platform.

Unfortunately - and this is why I am rating this 2 stars, is that you can no longer access this in it's full glory, or in the Amy Payne case (along with I believe they had an Andy C Q&A, Goldie, Koven etc calls) you can't access it at all. I get it's now a different website but I the annual subscription that I paid for (virtuoso) had half it's content i thought I was accessing cut for no reason earlier this year.

The support staff are really nice and they will add you to the courses that you want (you have to know they exist first, and some of them don't work like the krust one), so this is why it's not 1 star; but I don't want to email someone every time I discover a course in full i want to watch - I just want to get the content i originally paid for. What's worse is some of the bit sized pieces you can tell the speaker is being cut off with the outro slapped on mid sentence. A friend of mine expressed the same frustration irl and I wonder how many people are silently annoyed at this situation.

I do think they care - which is why I'm writing this; and I do think it's useful for people to know that there are still specs of fantastic content; I just wish you could access it in all it's glory.

I would definitely use this site if you want to level up your skills in music production or djing. With tutorials from the biggest stars in dance music genres you can't do no wrong. Well worth subscribing to!

Loads of courses on loads of topics for all levels. Even if you're a beginner, I wouldn't shy away from any of the more advanced courses because in my experience, you'll still get loads from it.

An amazing and revolutionary education platform. I have learnt so much by watching the lessons and aborning the information from inspiring artists in the music scene which in turn has inspired me to take action and pursue my love of the music even further. Grateful that this platform is here and the access to further my career is available so easily.

Play Virtuoso not only offers thorough education videos on a variety of important topics, techniques and methods for musicians, they have top notch customer service!

I had an issue with duplicate accounts being created and wanting to keep the service but the reasonable sub amount was more than I could budget this month. Scott took care of everything with my dup account and worked out favorable terms so I could keep my one account subscription active.

I encountered a frustrating issue with them, unfortunately. My subscription unexpectedly renewed at an outrageous price (jumping from £8 to £80 a year). I reached out to support, and they promptly promised a refund for the overcharge. However, after that initial response, they went silent for nearly 2 months, ignoring all my emails and contact attempts. Roughly 2 months post-renewal, and immediately after I posted a critical review, the team contacted me. They apologized, attributing the issue to a support system failure, refunded the renewal fee, and allowed me to retain my subscription. While it felt like I was being ignored at first, they eventually resolved the issue and extended their support. I appreciate their efforts to make things right and hope such an incident remains an isolated case.

Virtuoso is a great platform to learn from the best dj and producer around. The courses help me a lot in my creative process.

Virtuoso is the one place I know I can go to for informative and professionally produced tutorials. They also get in the big artists that I'm aspiring to emulate, so I know I'm learning from the best in the field.

Easy to navigate and have always come away knowing more than I did before!

Had to take the time to leave a review for Scott & the great customer i received. I had a small issue that was resovled extemely well & responsively, very impressed !

Concise, effective learning with clear, no-nonsense classes. Ideal for efficiently grasping key concepts.

I came across Virtuoso recently and decided to go in for a 1 year subscription to check out their courses. Here are my honest findings.

Pros:
1. All videos are HD and look well produced.
2. It has some of the biggest and most interesting people on the scene talking about their mastery in detail.
3. There's a lot of really useful tips you can learn if you complete the courses start to finish.
4. Having tried a lot of other music production courses online, I found Virtuoso to have the greatest variety in the things they were teaching (i.e. different genres, perspectives, building a career, DJing, etc).
5. With the sheer quantity of content on there, I feel it was great value for money since I availed a discount offer.
6. A lot of the courses are very entertaining and give you insight you can't find anywhere else.

Cons:
1. Most courses aren't edited well - they lack flow.
2. The descriptions quite often don't convey what you will actually get out of a lesson - it's left vague.
3. Although you see everyone's workflow in detail, I would say the amount of knowledge picked up for the time you need to spend is relatively low, compared to other courses online.
4. Courses can be hit and miss - some of them can be boring because you will just watch tutors fiddle around. Even the entertaining ones - while fun to watch - don't necessarily teach you much.

Overall, you will get a lot out of it if you're a beginner, have a generous budget, and have plenty of time on your hands. If you want to get good quickly and want to stay narrowly focused on production - I would personally suggest one of the other numerous music production sites online.

Helped my production 100-fold in so many different ways. There are many different industry-leading pioneers and artists with very helpful courses to which you have complete access.

I had only just encountered Virtuoso this afternoon and was very impressed with their menu of video courses for a wide variety of learning in music production and the music industry. A great price for the yearly subscription - but even better for one such as myself who is on low income and benefitted from a very generous 'pay what you can' scheme. I've only just joined and already I'm a satisfied customer! Keep up the good work guys!
