Shipping chain is excruciatingly long

Shipping chain is excruciatingly long. Ordered a keyboard over two weeks ago. It did not even get on a plane to leave china for 10 days. Now it's been stuck at the US Airport for another 5 days. The expected delivery date has now been pushed later and later, it's now over a month after my order date. I don't even have the product yet but based on this I am unlikely to purchase again.

Great tech Great prices

Great tech Great prices

This is the second time I've used whatgeek UK and both times I've been satisfied with my purchases. I found the prices are cheaper than AliExpress etc and the last delivery came super fast.

The UK in there website doesn't mean from UK.

The item ordered was delivered within 2 weeks and also tracking was spot on, BUT,
1. The items are not in the UK, they all come from China.
2. I could of order the item myself from China and it would of been cheaper than from this company.
3. I think they need to make it more obvious that the item isn't in the UK, if I had known it was coming from China, I wouldn't of bothered personally.

Please don't use this company

Please don't use this company, price was good and we had no trouble getting the item delivered however if anything goes wrong and you need to return they will insist you sent it back to China (notably they asked us to falsely declare it's value at $17 and we had to pay for the return ourselves).

They are not a UK business and we have had all sorts of problems returning an item. The item is now stuck in customs and it is very stressful. We have done everything they ask (bar the false declaration!)

I doubt we'll see the expensive item again , save yourself the stress,

Superb service

Superb service, very fast delivery, extremely well packed. The price was exceptionally good. I ordered the Retroid Pocket 5 and came with a free official case. This is a stunning handheld and you would have to spend double the amount to get anything that would be as close to this with the power, amazing battery life and a truly gorgeous screen. You would be hard pushed to buy from a better retailer in the UK. I will be buying from them again. Highly recommended

You'll be out of pocket with this crowd

Item arrived and was not quiet as advertised. Multi display via USB4 does not work, asked for refund, but I had to pay carriage (this is against UK distance selling laws)
They then told me I had to send it to Chine, to declare it a keyboard at a value of $7. in doing so I can only insure the £800 item for £6. REALLY STAY CLEAR OF THESE CON ARTISTS. PayPal proving to be terrible with this as well so dont think they have your back they dont.

Hello!
We are very sorry to bring you such a bad shopping experience. We have attached great importance to the problem you reported.

Regarding the situation that the product does not match the promotion and the functional failure, we have arranged a professional team to verify. If it is true, it will be handled in strict accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Regulations. According to the UK "Distance Selling Regulations", consumers do not need to bear the return shipping costs. We have urgently checked the process loopholes to ensure that such situations will not occur in the future.

Regarding the return address and declared value, this is obviously not in line with normal after-sales regulations. We have investigated the relevant docking links and will actively negotiate with you for a more reasonable solution (such as providing a local return point, bearing reasonable shipping costs and insurance, etc.).

In addition, we have contacted the PayPal platform to communicate your case and strive to assist in promoting the processing.
If you are willing to give us a chance to make up for it, please inform us of your contact information through the order reserved email or customer service channel. We will give priority to solving the problem for you and provide corresponding compensation.

We once again sincerely apologize for the trouble caused by this incident, and will also use this as a reference to improve the whole process control. Thank you for your feedback and look forward to your reply.

I wish you a happy life!

Avoid This Bunch - Updated

Purchased an Ajazz QS87 keyboard. It is missing one of the Ctrl key caps, which has a duplicate Win key cap in its place. The LCD screen will not work despite following manufacturer's instructions. Manual says that you need to turn a knob to access menu on screen but the keyboard doesn't actually have a knob! Contacted this bunch explaining the problem and they ask us to provide a video or photos. Provided photos to which they then asked us to factory reset keyboard. Which we did but this didn't resolve any of the problems (least of all the incorrect key cap!). Was then asked to provide more photos, which we did. Was then asked to provide a video at which point we asked if they planned to do anything to help us. Was sent an email on 15/05 promising a replacement would arrive with us within 2 to 7 days and we have heard nothing since. No replacement has arrived. We will not spend any further money with this company and we would suggest anybody considering using them avoid them.

Edit 10/06/25: As you can see the Seller has responded to my review 5 days ago. However, I can confirm I have received no tracking number of a replacement keyboard shipment, no one has emailed me to help with the screen issue and I have not received a 15% refund back onto my card.

Purchased Anbernic Console

I purchased an Anbernic RG557 from WhstGeek. The console came in quick time (it was at the quick end of the date range supplied) and I was able to track it along the way.

The console was as advertised and was cheaper than other sites.

This is the second time I have used them and will happily use them again.

Instructed to provide fraudulent customs declaration when fixing their own mistake

Placed an order for 1 device, immediately realised I wanted a different device. Contacted them via email requesting the swap and they said sure it'll be no problem. Confirmed the swap. My order was swapped from priority processing into normal processing which I considered fair because they had to do extra leg work to amend my order.

I received no updates for over a week, and contacted them seeking an update, and received an email after a few days saying that my device would be shipped in 5-8 business days I waited 10 business days and got in touch with them, and they said it would be shipped shortly and apologised for the inconvenience, offering me a £5 discount for the delay (this discount never materialised).

Once the package finally arrived over a month after placing my order, it was the wrong device. They had just sent the one I initially ordered, no effort to swap as discussed. Would not recommend purchasing from them unless you have no other option.

UPDATE: I have been instructed by their customer service that I should commit fraud in my customs declaration for the return item, and that I will be liable for the customs charges for returning the incorrect item that they sent me in error. Absolutely pitiful.

Unedited returns instructions: "Return Instructions: Please indicate your order number on the outside of the return package. 1) Return the item with the original box, cable, and charger. 2) Use a local shipping provider to ship the item back to us (do not use EMS, DHL, UPS, or FedEx). 3) Carefully wrap the item with bubble wrap to ensure it does not get damaged during shipping. 4) Declare the item as "Keyboard" and declare the item value as $17.5) Send us the tracking number (we will notify you when the package arrives). Please note: During return shipping, the customer is responsible for any customs fees, duties, or tariffs during the return trip to our warehouse. In these cases, we will deduct the customs duties from the refund amount you authorize."

DO NOT BUY FROM WHATGEEK

Update from their reply:

They have not reached out to me, I remain in possession of the wrong product and without my money.

Five star service

Really happy with the service and the price. As others have said it takes a few days to get to you but the tracking keeps you informed as it goes. Nicely packaged and arrived intact. Really happy and I would certainly use WhatGeek again.

Perfect experience

Perfect experience, not sure why people keep complaining the site is not in the UK, the UK in the web address merely refers to the price in sterling and the free shipping they offer. As the product comes from China, it took 10 days to arrive, but the tracker was spot on, updating the customer on where it is on a daily basis. Amazon ended up delivering it using their usual tracker. The product itself (RG40XXV) is absolutely amazing, good quality, as described. The free pouch was a pleasant extra. I will definitely use them again. Thanks.

Trimui Smart Pro 256 GB

Trimui Smart Pro 256 GB. Item as described! Took 14 days from ordering to deliver to my door. If you happy to wait couple of weeks then this is by far the the most competitive prices you will find. Since its coming from china so expect to wait, they already mentioned when ordering that it can take upto 15 days. The only suggestion is maybe they improve their delivery times somehow.

Priority Shipping Scam

I placed the order on the 15th with the additional fee for priority shipping. Not a single thing happened until the 19th after which I emailed to see why is the item not shipped yet. I get an email back saying that it’s ready to go now and will take between 5-15 days to get… so if I never emailed, how long would the “priority” shipping take?

When you choose the shipping you have the option that says 5-15 days which is free then you pay for priority shipping which you’d think it’s faster but no ofc not. They replied back saying “priority shipping means yours gets sorted first, after which you wait 5-15 days”

What?😅 Not sure what to even expect at this point but one thing is certain. Will never use them again. Will never recommend.

Shameful

Check details carefully

I stupidly thought UK WhatGeek was a UK website - my fault for not checking.
The item I ordered took 3 weeks to arrive, but finally it did.
Throughout the wait time, customer service replied to each of my complaints and moans patiently and tried to assist as best they could.
Would I use them again? Yes, probably, maybe? However now I know how long the delivery process is and where they are based so I wouldn't feel like I was being cheated. Buying a reasonably expensive item and then waiting 3 weeks wasnt a good experience. I do feel the company are trying to catch buyers out with their UK website name but I should have checked.

Great products and Service

The products are great, and such fantastic value for your money, especially when compared to the likes of Amazon, and delivery was fast considering orders are shipped from China. Overall, shopping with WhatGeek was an enjoyable experience, and I will certainly purchase from them again. Therefore, I do highly recommend them to friends and family.
