Whatsapp is the app where I keep my close friends and family. I Love it because where It an app I can keep people I am close to.

Today, February 25, 2026, I received 8 messages on WhatsApp from my sister who lives 2000 miles away from me. I opened WhatsApp on my phone. A message stated "This version of WhatsApp has expired. Please go to the App Store to update it." I clicked on "Update WhatsApp" and clicked "download" I was told to sign into my Apple Account. In the recent past I went round and round with accessing my Apple account and could not get in. I refuse to play games again with Apple. This means that I have no way to see the messages from my sister. My messages are being held hostage by WhatsApp and I am furious. I tried opening WhatsApp in the browser on my desktop and was given a QR code that took me back to my phone and back to the desktop. I was able to read half the messages but 4 are still unreadable. I demand access to these messages without all Apple's stupid hoops. Updates are fine but stop forcing this control system on us. It should be enough that you are collecting info on us. Now I will thank you to get out of the way and update your stupid app so I can read my messages.

Such a terrible and worst app ever...their so called ai system blocked you for no reason and than unblock after 6 to 7 hour...no human customer support..greedy losers

My account has been hacked by someone impersonating me- messaging me. When i try to contact whatsapp support, i can only get in contact with an AI, it cannot understand my problem and keeps sending me the same messages again and again. And I cannot contact any human employee, this is deeply frustrating and absurd. How can you let AI, that does not work, be in charge of this????

WhatsApp has repeatedly restricted my business account without proper explanation. I run a legitimate company serving more than 10,000 clients, and every time this happens it directly harms my operations and damages my reputation.

These repeated restrictions seriously affect our company, yet there is no compensation for the financial loss or disruption caused. We are not scammers — we operate a real, registered business.

WhatsApp needs to review and adapt its policies for verified businesses. Automated restrictions without proper review are unfair and harmful to legitimate companies.

Very disappointed with how business users are treated.

I absolutely hate Whatsapp. It's a terrible app, just utterly horrible. I wish I could block it from my life forever but I can't due to family living abroad, and a manager who demands employee's to join the work group, also a partner who likes to keep tabs, ( if their messages go through they know my internet is on and that I'm awake if their messages don't go through then they know I'm sleeping and my phone is on flight mode!) I mean what on earth is this?!! Really ??! How can you design an app that users cannot feel free to use their internet at night in peace without people on WhatsApp knowing if they are awake or not?! I can't use the mute option because they can still see that their messages are going through so they know full well I'm active (even if not directly active on WhatsApp itself)

The backup and restore process can sometimes be cumbersome. Users have concerns about privacy policies.

Whatsapp uses AI to detect spam and It's seriously a flawed software and accounts are regularly and wrongly banned by it. FIX THIS ISSUE ITS NOT FAIR TO THE USER!

Storage fills up quickly and customization options are few.

Trash!!!! They don’t help with anything but send the same non helpful automated messages when sending questions to support center. Cannot register with new number and new phone constantly saying I need other phone to confirm… what kind of sense does that make!!! NONE!!!!

Deleted app and will never use again!!!!

I have whatsapp for years and i had my account hacked yesterday. It mafde me realise one thing. Whatsapp holds no accountability for what happens to you. It's probably run by AI.
#As much as i tried to contact them via series of email, they kept on giving access to the hacker and logged me out of my own account!
Use whatsapp at your own risk! There is no customer services function when your whatsapp gets hacked. You send series of email ti the customer support" but you never get a response. Stay safe out there. Whatsapp is very very unsafe and they are not accountable for anything that happens.

HORRIBLE. It's simply a stupid AI repeating generic sentences. Absolutely useless. I tried to get my account back after being banned for no reason at all and all my effort for what. Nothing.

It shut me out after a few minutes for spam calling, and now i can't add new people but OF COURSE i'm going to message multiple people in a short space of time when i'm setting up my account.

Privacy doesn't seem well protected. Unnecessary storage fills up very quickly.

WhatsApp has been an essential communication tool for me, but I'm now facing a serious problem. This is the second time my account has been banned without any explanation or warning.
A few months ago, my first account was blocked. I had to go through the difficult process of switching to a new number and losing all my contacts. Now my second account has also been banned.
I don't engage in any violations or suspicious activities, so I don't understand why this keeps happening. The support system only provides automated responses that don't help resolve the issue or provide any clarity.
I strongly suggest the developers review and fix their ban detection system. Legitimate users shouldn't be penalized this way. There should also be proper human support to handle appeals and account recovery.
If this issue isn't resolved, it makes communication extremely difficult and forces users to look for more reliable alternatives.

My WhatsApp account was hacked and the support center were no help at all. They do not provide phone support and the email support is just a bot saying the same thing over and over again. My account is still hacked and who ever took over my account is sending TEXTS to my contacts and What App is no help and do not care about their customers. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE

An Absolute shit app, was once the best, but now is absolutely shit, it lags in the middle of nowhere the scrolling is very glitchy and calls can now longer be heard and you cant even place calls, you can no longer view photos properly and when you try to zoom it logs you out
