Me and my wife went for Sunday Lunch
It has gone downhill
service was poor food did not come out at same time and was cold
We will not be returning

I invited few friends for Sunday lunch at Wheat sheafes Esher. Our booking was at 2:30 but had the table by almost 3pm. Our food arrived by 4:15pm. My friend who was diabetic felt unwell waiting.
The food was much small portions compare than other times.
I thought they had difficulty copping with the amount of booking they had last Sunday.
Over all, we had a disappointing time.

Held an 18th Birthday dinner in the private dining room for my daughter and 15 friends at the Wheatsheaf Esher and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. Prior to the evening Zee the General Manager contacted me to pre book meal choices and drinks order, which ensured that the service on the night was quick and there were no nasty surprizes when the final bill arrived. Zee and the team were outstanding hosts and nothing was to much trouble, Zee kept us updated as to how the evening was going and even came to get us when my daughter was about to have her birthday cake. Every guest said the food was fabulous and the fact they had the private dining room to themselves made it even more special as we could decorate the room and provide our own music.

We enjoyed a lovely meal in the main restaurant while we waited and I can honestly say it was one of the easiest birthday parties ever!

excellent service great drink choice food not Michelin star but nice enough....Nice place.

We have only been here twice and it is not easy to get a booking, which I think says a lot about the restaurant. The food in fantastic and the service is very professional. Would thoroughly recommend going here.

I have to edit this now that I've learnt they pay some of their staff well below the minimum wage. Won't be going again.
