Alison has been supportive, but ultimately unable to cajole her Portuguese business partners to provide anything other than a very basic level of information (which could have been found on any of a dozen websites). The sunk cost of the initial "consultation" is an annoyance, but the real disappointment is that I was looking for assistance with a D7 Visa application, not just a Zoom call, and on the basis of this experience I feel that my €3,000 would probably be better spent elsewhere, with a more helpful and informed service provider.

Paid 65 bucks for a half hour consultation with an immigration lawyer, it never happened, received an email from a lawyer who told me they gave the initial half hour consultation free of charge.

I received the advice of a knowledgeable Argentinean immigration attorney, who was able to guide us in the right direction and suggest the best next steps to help with our matter. He suggested we contact our local consulate, provided a template for how we were to frame our request, and offered to stay available if we needed him or required additional assistance. I would definitely use this service in the future, and would highly recommend it to others. As a fellow attorney, I appreciated the value provided and level of attention that was given.

Our meeting was great, all our questions were answered and no time wasted which I thought was great in just a short meeting.

Connected us with Advogada law firm in Portugal via a ZOOM call, familiar with the processes of the D7 (here in the USA and over there). Had every answer we needed and more. We will use them for sure, was a seemless process

Ahead of moving to Spain, we had an initial consultation with Raquel regarding our visa application. Raquel was really helpful and clarified everything we needed to know. This was in stark contrast to another lawyer to whom we were referred from elsewhere. She told us what she thought we should do, but offered no explanation as to why (despite us asking her several times) and gave us a quote of €4,000 which she wouldn't break down or explain.
We will definitely be asking Raquel to handle our immigration matters, not just because of the competitive price, but also because she explained everything clearly and gave us confidence in her and in her advice. We are really grateful for this referral and, more generally, we are very impressed with 'wherecani.live' as it outlines others' experiences and helps us to avoid the less beneficial routes to what we want to achieve. The referral system is very helpful, given that we wouldn't have a clue who to ask and recommendations are always the best advertisement.
Rest assured that we will come calling as and when we find something else we need to research.

She helped answer the key questions we have right now, and made recommendations for other key resources we need. We are working with her to help us through the process and she has been extremely prompt and helpful. We plan to work with her on a visa and seeking permanent residency eventually. She has connected us to tax and property attorneys as well. So once the trusted network begins, you really feel like you are on your way.

We had a zoom meeting with Irene, which went well and was very informative. Irene has since followed up with an email providing listing all of the items discussed and some additional information. We cannot fault the service that has been provided thus far.

Completed the Zoom call with Immigration Consultant Irene as Raquel had a meeting running longer than anticipated. Raquel DID let me know about an hour before the meeting she wasn't going to be able to make the original time and gave me the option of meeting with Irene about 45 minutes after the original meeting time. I appreciated the advance notice and agreed to the meeting with Irene. My son and daughter-in-law also attended the meeting.

Irene was very helpful and recommended the NLV process as the family reunification process, in her experience, was very difficult to get approved. She was able to answer all the questions we had at the time and give us a quote on their completing the application process for me.

I will be emailing Irene with my decision to start the NLV application process after the first of the year.

Great experience with Where Can I Live. I was looking to obtain a Czech passport for my children post the Brexit mess as I want them to have the same opportunities to work and live in Europe that I did. I wasn’t sure about their eligibility and what we needed to do to apply.
