The Help You Need

As a justice impacted person, one of the best decisions I made was hiring the team at White Collar Advice. Their team helped guide me through the entire pre and post sentencing process and gave me key support and advice. They helped me reduce my time that I spent at the federal camp and successfully guided me through the halfway house process. This is the support network you need and you won’t regret it.

I cannot stress enough how much of a blessing it is to have Justin Paperny, Michael and Carole Santos and their Organizations in our Lives

My family and I are so very lucky to be a part of the White Collar Advice and Earning Freedom community.

It is truly a privilege and honor to be working with Justin Paperny, as well as Michael and Carole Santos and others within their organization(s).

They are a family of individuals who have all "felt the pain", and their counsel, support and everyday practical advice is, at a minimum, priceless.

Since day-one I have been made to feel like I was, and have been part of their family. It doesn't matter what walk of life you are from, we are all treated equally, respectfully, and with dignity and respect, which is a hard commodity to come by for people in our position of life.

Their advice is practical, of immense quality and use, and I will do all I can to learn and execute what I have been taught thus far, and will also do all I can to share with others, and give back all I can, in any way possible, now and in the future.

I cannot stress enough how much of a blessing it is to have the White Collar Advice, Earning Freedom and all of the related organizations of Justin Paperny, Michael and Carole Santos and everyone within their organizations to be part of our lives, and I'm quite sure I speak not only for myself, but for those many people whose lives they have touched and assisted through what is likely the most difficult journey of their and their family's lives.

It is with deepest thanks and gratitude from my family and I, to say again, as we do every day, how blessed and grateful that we are to have you in our lives.

Real Help.

Throughout my journey with the federal system, I was looking for advice and guidance. I kept on google searching for anything that would help me understand. I searched podcast, articles and everything in between. Then, I discovered WCA. I started reading their website and listening to Michael on Spotify. Every day I would learn something new. By that time in my journey, I was already passed some very critical points. I discovered them late in the process but early enough to learn some important techniques that would help me get out of prison earlier than expected.

Carole was instrumental in my journey. She provided me with rapid responses and answered all my questions directly. Before I self-surrendered, she told me about important things I can do to help my self-advocacy campaign, such as getting a physical before I go in and mailing the paperwork to myself. This was instrumental in my journey because it provided the documentation I needed. While inside, she was always available via email to provide answers and guidance- and I had a lot.

But, it doesn't end there. After my release (a few weeks ago), they have not stopped supporting me. I recently had a meeting with Michael who has offered some critical additional support for some outstanding financial obligations that I have due to the case. He made certain that I take the important steps needed to avoid additional headaches at no extra cost. The WCA team is also providing guidance to me while I am on supervised release.

The most important factor in this is to understand that everyone who works there have already been though the system. They know and understand it well. They are not trying to evaluate you or judge you which was my fear. They are there to make sure you get through this as safe as possible. I say safe because this journey is mentally frustrating and something I wish no one had to encounter. However, with a team like WCA on your side providing guidance you have an advocate, a real advocate by your side. Quite different from the lawyers we hire. The team at WCA understands the importance of a PSR/I. There are so many things I can speak about but, the truth is that I learned most of it from them. Hire them and regain focus on things that are important at this time in the case- they will guide you. You won't regret it.

I hope this helps friends. Good luck on your journey and remember that nothing lasts forever. Eventually this dark cloud will pass from over you. It will be a long journey and it will change your life forever. Having professional support who has been through it helps. It really helps.

This too shall pass.

I hope this review reaches as many…

I hope this review reaches as many criminally challenged people/loved ones as possible. Self-advocacy and preparation is the key to achieving the best possible outcome, no matter where you are in your journey. I wanted to share the outcome of my sentence hearing on Friday 2/17/23 in Denver, CO. A brief overview, I went to trial, and was basically found guilty of “willful ignorance/conspiracy.” One of my best friends, that I consulted with for over 20 years, got caught up in a Ponzi scheme. He immediately made a deal with government to plead guilty, and offered up myself & one other person up as co-conspirator’s. So, we went to trial, government tried to portray me as mastermind of operation, I was found guilty 8/26/22.

I started working with you guys in September, and you taught me the value of self-advocating, and not relying solely on my attorney. Your help and guidance has been invaluable, the work completed by Larry, from the personal narrative, to the allocution statement was impressive!

Bottom line, when I went to my sentence hearing, I was prepared, I knew what to expect, and I knew with certainty I had done the work (with your help) to position myself for the best possible outcome. And that work paid off, as you guys have said many times, it's hard to pinpoint the one thing that influences a judge/stakeholder, but more than likely it’s the collaborative effort.

Because the amount of money was $14MM lost by the victims, and I went to trial, etc, the government was originally seeking 14 years! My only chance was for a “downward variance” in sentencing, based on how the judged viewed me during the trial, but more importantly, how he received the work I/we did.

The judge chastised the government for trying to portray me as the “mastermind,” when it was very evident that it was the governments witness that was the primary perpetrator. He went on to reprimand me, saying that I was an experienced businessman, sharper than most he has seen, and I should have known better. However, he was impressed with the character letters presented on my behalf, and the work I had done including my personal narrative & volunteer work (Prison Professors). He said that my allocution statement was precise, and he was glad I submitted it prior to hearing (BTW - I decided to submit to the court a week before sentencing, instead of waiting for the hearing).

He sentenced my to 6 years, considerably less than what government originally sought (14 yrs), and granted my additional request that I knew to ask for (because you prepared me), Montgomery FPC, recommendation for entry into RDAP, and a surrender date of 5/1/23.

I am convinced that without all of your guidance and support, this outcome would’ve been much different! Now I will move on to the next stage, and prepare my release plan.

I wanted to make sure I sincerely thanked all three of you!

Regards,

Ron Throgmartin

Great advice

I have followed and listened to Justin's advice prior to self surrendering my 30 months prison sentence. While in prison, I remind myself constantly about do's and don't during my prison time. Justin's advice was instrumental that it kept me out of trouble and any kind of infraction so therefor, I only served 13 months and out in the halfway house currently. I credit this to Justin and to him team. Thank you so much and continue providing great information to all who are in need, Thank you sincerely and keep doing what you are doing.

I was a surgeon for 29 years in the…

I was a surgeon for 29 years in the same location I had hired two lawyers before constituting Justin Paperny . My plea was completed and during my guilty leading I felt my brother was out of his league and the other attorney was weak. Innately, I recognized to fire the lead attorney after dropping 88 K. I hired a health care attorney and an attorney locally who knew all the stake holders. After that , I called Justin in summer of 2018 and he guided me through speaking in front of the judge and guessed on a 1.5 million dollar medical fraud case. I felt I did the right thing for my patients and it took justin to explain I was still guilty. You can’t act on your own Mike. Took a while for that to sink in. The guidelines were between 49 -59 months. Justin figured since I did so much for my community I would get 18-24 months. I had a 300 page mitigation package with 80 Documents including I built a 1.5 million football and cheerleading and park and ran it for 10 years at 100 K a year. I Hired Justin and he talked me through my case and what to expect. I got 5 years of probation with 24 months of house detention. In September of 2018. I got off house detention using First Step act Pro se. First in the nation to get off prison or house arrest pro se or with an attorney at 17 months. At 35 months , after paying restitution, I wrote another Pro se motion to get off of Probation which was granted.
Remember, when trying to get off of prison time ot house detention you must understand the first step act and must site case documentation similar to yours. I was able to get off house arrest with help of blogs on first step act on Justin Paperny’s website which was written by Their partner Shon Hopwood an ex felon now an attorney and professor at Georgetown University. Shon motivated me to go to law school at age 58. I will graduate this May.
I am also a Football Coach High School and College and I can only say what my University Head Football Coach told us : There is no Elevator to Succeed, You MUST take the stairs. That is you must work very hard for the best outcome. Even if you fall short, you know you left everything on the Field.
Hiring Justin was very Important in getting probation on a 1.5 million dollar health care fraud case which I feel very bad for challenging the Government.
Justin will work with you on price and I was tapped out. The funds I spent on Justin was invaluable!
Information is power!!!
Bless you all

I cannot express my deepest gratitude…

I cannot express my deepest gratitude correctly with only words, but I’ll try. When I first found out I was being investigated I was floored, fearful and quite frankly speechless. I began to search online for some understanding in regards of what to expect. I came across Justin first and later Micheal. I watched and read nearly everything they published online. I was in awe because they understood and sometimes I even felt calmness come across my mind given this incredible and free content created by two people who truly care. It wasn’t about money, but rather about helping people like me who were not only scared but uneducated in regards to the complex federal court process and unseen expectations. Many times when I had my down days I reviewed more YouTube videos and it made me feel accepted which helped more than I can say here. I took full responsibility early on as my first call with Justin even validated doing so because he was kind, yet brutally honest. “A mistake, given you take responsibility, doesn’t define who you are. You need take full responsibility and make amends, all while creating a plan to make things right.”Justin is not only kind, he is forthright and will help anyone who is willing to help themselves. In all transparency, I became a client and found the resources to do so because the amount of value far exceeded the cost. Justin and his team have delivered more than they promised, which is rare in this modern day business world. Although I am not completely through this legal process, I am at ease because I have a partner in Justin and Micheal who are walking through it with me and that in my humble opinion is priceless.

I served 10 months in the Camp and 7 months on Home Confinement following advice from webinars out of my 24 month sentence. I started late listening to the advice and I only wish I did it earlier. It would have made my passage easier, and possibly quicker. Your lawyers are expert in pretrial matters, but by generally speaking they are not familiar with in and outs of system thereafter. There are many "advisors" out there, but I found Justin and his group most legitimate and accurate. Good luck and Godspeed.

I CAN RECOMMEND THIS FINE FIRM

I highly recommend Justin Paperny's White Collar Advice for those in need of his services and especially for those who may not recognize they are in need of such expertise. My wife ran afoul of the law and faced a potential 20-year federal sentence. She had an excellent attorney but I soon discovered that was not enough. I was desperate for assistance. Scouring the internet late one night I came upon WCA. I emailed in the wee hours to set up an appointment. Justin called the next morning for an extended conversation to assess our situation and to lay out a logical mitigation strategy. I was quite impressed with his knowledge and his positive demeanor.

My wife had already submitted her PSR but it was incomplete in several key respects. With WCA's guidance she was able to revise her PSR (that almost never happens) with critical information. Their assistance resulted in a substantially reduced sentence. Our attorney was opposed but relented due to our insistence. It is amazing how many attorneys are unfamiliar with WCA. It is your duty as a client to make your attorney is aware. Do your homework. Seek and ye shall find. Your future is at stake.

WCA has recently had some internal and staff changes. This led to some confusion and a sudden failure to communicate with us directly. It resulted in an unfortunate but brief delay to my wife's forward progress through the system. Remember that every additional day in federal custody is a day lost and an extra day of frustration and hardship for a felon's family. Santos was belligerent and downright rude to me in addressing my concerns but Justin reached out and we discussed it. He cares.

All in all I have been very pleased with White Collar Advice and especially Justin Paperny's wise counsel and steady hand. My wife and I could not have made the progress to date without their diligent efforts. WCA listens, they inquire and they deliver beneficial results.

I can’t thank them enough!!!

I can’t thank them enough!!!! Wish I had found them earlier and prepared myself rather than going into that courtroom with high profile, expensive lawyers who had on going trial concurrently and needed to be excused multiple time during my sentencing.
Hearing “72 months “ is all I can remember and feeling that 6 years of my life just evaporated in front of my eyes.
Although I take full responsibility for everything happening to me but how could this happen??? I can tell you now by not hiring these people earlier,That’s how it can happen .
I went in to my probation interview being told that it doesn’t matter what probation officer recommends. I didn’t know about RDAP program and didn’t think my drinking could be a factor among so many other things.
Unknown is scary and Going through this path now as to any other paths in life, our best source of information are those who have been through it and are willing to share their step by step map and give you first hand information. That is truly a blessing.
Hearing their stories and seeing them coming out better and stronger gives you hope and the inspiration you need to go through this journey not alone and make it into a positive life lesson.
We expect miracles from God, but in today’s world, God doesn’t magically creates a bridge over the river for you, but he/she will put the right people in your way to show you where that bridge is and having gone through it, how to hold the rails not to fall down.
Knowing this group of people for me was nothing short of a miracle and as I told Sam, hopefully I can pay it forward.
Needless to say, I now have the best appeal lawyer fighting my sentencing, and got the judge making RDAP recommendation.
I’m addicted to their weekly webinars and the amount of information I get makes me really looking forward to this chapter of my life and as they all say to you when you find them “ There’s light at the end of the tunnel”
Thank you Sam, Michael, Justin, Larry, Scot,Carol and the whole team.

Government wants 57-71 months, sentenced to 15

Government was asking for 57-71 months, I was sentenced to 15.

5-stars, because I couldn't go higher.

They are so much more than "prison consultants". They are more like disaster specialists, therapists, life-coaches, and friends all mixed together. Working with their team, I produced real, life-changing results during some of the most stressful times in my life.

I couldn't believe that I was involved in the criminal justice system, and I felt like my life was over. Overwhelmed, depressed, angry, and stressed to the max; I was lost. Following their advice, I created a PLAN and took ACTION. Both to earn the shortest sentence possible as well as plan for a successful, meaningful life after prison.

Without their support and guidance, my 15-month sentence doesn't happen and neither does my optimistic outlook for the second half of my life.

I am forever grateful.

I was LOST, but now I'm FOUND!

I was LOST, but now I'm found!!! I didn't know my designation nor my J & C when I met this team. I was scared, mad, frustrated and lost. Sam and Larry changed my life. I constatnly tell folks I met them 8 months too late. My PSR didn't accurate reflect my situation, experiences, nor my short comings. Through the gudiance and help of this team, I have a good chance of being located 2 1/2 hours from my family versus 7 hours. Additionally, Sam and Larry guided my attorney with drafted orders (Larry) and RDAP information and conference calls (Sam) to assist me with my illness and possible treatment, and presenting to the courts on my behalf. I've learned how to advocate for myself and become productive while incarcerated. Most importantly, my wife feels better about our situation as she listens to the zoom calls with me. Justin, Sam, Larry, Scott and the other team members are now our family. Michael Santos is a genius, and I want to be like him when I grow up.
