White Magic Studios is worth considering when looking to self publish - they are not the cheapest but you want the best experience and the finest quality product after a long time in the process of writing. My co-ordinater Amy was and is truly wonderful always on hand to help, advise and put things right. She makes the whole experience worthwhile. Thank you Amy I hope to continue working with you.

Having previously written several books for mainstream publishers, I was at first a little apprehensive about the world of 'hybrid' publishing, which seemed the obvious choice for the production of a 'memoir'. However, I needn't have worried. The whole process, from uncertain start to confident finish, was handled superbly and with consummate professionalism, patience and understanding - and speed! - by my 'coordinator', Amy.

Our collaboration was, in short, an absolute joy and compared very favourably with the level of care & guidance provided, in my experience, by commissioning editors at well-known publishing houses.

Nothing was too much trouble for Amy and the production team, even when I, annoyingly - and often belatedly - kept changing my mind about the cover, and would constantly discover yet more errors in my own proofreading. On reflection, I might have been better advised to pay a little more and get Amy's team to do the proofreading, instead of insisting on doing it myself!

So, all in all, it has been a very positive and rewarding experience. And most importantly, I am extremely happy with the finished product.

I have finally published my first children's book with White Magic Studios! To begin with, I experienced a lot of frustrations, however this was mainly driven by my lack of knowledge with regard to the overall process. Amy was very accommodating with my ideas and amendments and we finally got there in the end. I am very pleased with the overall quality of the book and will be using them for book 2.

This is my first time self-publishing a book. White Magic Studios you have done an absolutely amazing job of creating the perfect book cover and internal layout for my transformational memoir ‘From Fear To Freedom’ which represents my healing journey through ‘Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity’ and ‘Hodgkin’s Lymphoma’ cancer. I decided to go for Paperback, Hardback and E-book formats. Initially, Vrinda helped me, then Amy. Both extremely helpful. Amy has been so understanding, kind, caring and patient through the whole process. She dealt with any queries promptly and efficiently, working along with The Team, especially when I had issues with my E-book layout. All was sorted, and they have now created me the perfect E-book I visualised, which I’m very proud of. Any alterations and adjustments which were required were carried out, they were very understanding and saw my vision. Although it has taken a little longer than anticipated to get to publication release, I’m so glad I chose White Magic Studios for my self-publishing journey–I will be using them again with no hesitation. I would have no reservations in recommending this company if you are on your writing journey and looking to self-publish your work. The Spectre is my first novel and Amy at White Magic Studios guided me through every stage of the publishing process and was always contactable by email of phone.

Absolutely dreadful. Throughout the whole process I have experienced incompetence and unprofessionalism. The final straw is having received 8 copies of my book, all of which were damaged by excessive adhesive and them refusing to take any responsibility for it. 🤬
