I am appalled by the service I received from Blake. I called to book a flight and was quoted a price that seemed okay at first. However, when I compared it to the same flight on the airline’s public website, I discovered the agent was quoting me significantly higher than the listed fare — by several hundred dollars!

I questioned the agent about the price difference, and they couldn’t offer a reasonable explanation. They just kept saying the price they gave me was the “current rate,” but it was clear they were charging me more than what anyone else could book the flight for online. I tried to book directly through the website, and sure enough, I secured the same flight for far less than what the agent had quoted me.

This feels like a complete scam. It’s one thing if prices fluctuate a little, but this was a blatant attempt to overcharge for no good reason. After some back and forth, the agent seemed completely indifferent to my concerns, which made the situation even worse.

I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed. I will never be booking with this airline again, and I recommend others avoid calling their agents unless you want to pay way more than you should. Always check the airline’s website first, or you’ll end up paying a premium for no reason.

I was assured the charge for a gratuity would be reversed. It has been 5 days and still no credit.
