Having long awaited the facility to have fibre to the house I had my Wildanet fibre broadband installed Wildanet.
I would like to take the time to review their performance and customer service which was quite simply exemplary.
The installers Chloe and Kai were extremely helpful and informative and couldn’t do more to complete the final installation of my fibre to the house broadband.
They took the time to make sure that the installation was perfect to my requirements externally and internally and to check that all of my extenders were working as they should before leaving.
Throughout they were polite and helpful and extremely knowledgeable.
I don’t often leave reviews but I’m very happy to do so in this case as I was initially anxious when leaving BT.
Regarding the customer service department, Thomas has been also very helpful as my business customer manager.
I’m very confident now that my Wildanet service will be excellent moving forwards and have no hesitation in recommending them as a supplier for those lucky enough in all areas to be able to benefit from fibre broadband.

A little disappointed with the installation scheduling process. It works on the 'We will tell you when we are coming' model. In our case, the house was not yet occupied, and I had to arrange to be there. One email, no promised reminder emails or texts. If the appointment clashed with my schedule, I had to cancel and wait for them to schedule another date. Phone and arrange a date that works for both? No, can't do that, that's another department. I probably won't be able to do afternoons? The next scheduled appointment is an afternoon. Left-hand right-hand, internal communication problems. Finally installed, so hope for better going forward.

I have paid for 400Mbps but are currently receiving 14, obviously this is well below what I’m paying for.
The router is also not as strong as my old Bt one that is over 5 years old, I don’t get connectivity to half of my house.
I’ve also had periods when we have no internet at all.
We only had it installed for a week and I’m considering cancelling it.
I have contacted customer service but they are slow at getting back to me.
Hopefully they can resolve the issue asap.

The installation engineers, Andy and Ollie were first class, they arrived on time, were friendly and courteous, were knowledgable and explained everything, they cleaned up on completion and left the system working correctly. The office staff were excellent, friendly and approachable and able to answer any questions . Unfortunately the groundwork’s team were less help and left our garden needing work to put it back as it was, shame really as everything else was spot on and the system works perfectly.

Phase 2 of the installation went very smoothly and the resulting connection to the internet is excellent. The only drawback was poor communication in the early days and failure of contractors to turn up on the appointed day for phase 1.

Our installers were absolutely perfect. Polite, professional and efficient. This even in the face of our hideous neighbor who believes she owns the world giving them an earful because she, "couldn't get in her driveway" (she absolutely could).
The Internet is very quick, about 10× quicker than our previous.
We have had some issues with the Internet dropping out on a daily basis, but they are easy to get hold of and customer service is good.

From the first contact with Wayne I was impressed by the service offered and the friendly helpfulness.
This was backed up by good communication and a prompt response.
When the engineer Derek came to carry out the installation he was punctual polite and very helpful . The equipment seems to be of good quality and the broadband speeds are as advertised.
Earl days but so far very happy.

Big on promises small on delivery. Not actually got a connection yet now on month 2 of waiting. They dug up the road installed a little box in the driveway, very pleasant lady called and convinced us this was the best thing since sliced bread, so we signed up were giving an installation date and asked to be in. We cleared all the book cases onto the dining table that may have been in their way and waited the first engineers that came said there was no gizmo in the box and left a fortnight later another set of engines called and said there's no gizmo between box and house and left 10 days later yet another pair turned up at 5 o'clock on a Friday evening to start digging up the driveway but found there still no gizmo in the box. Since then we've had no response from the company in fact they're ignoring us. Christmas is coming and we would like to rebuild our dining room plus waiting in this length of time for them we are now running low on food.
I must say the chaps that do come round are very pleasant and apologetic but are being severely let down by the management team that either have been totally overwhelmed or totally incompetent

One week on…. Installation was good however lost internet for 8 hours ( so did other Wildanet customers in our village)…. Unable to contact Wildanet.
The router they have supplied is not on their website and when I scan the QR code it says it’s not connected to Wildanet ( which it definitely is)…
Unable to go into router to set ports etc….
REALLY REALLY UNIMPRESSED….. they promise a lot and fail to deliver basic customer service..
Probably go back to BT
