Absolutely loathe it and can't wait to move everything elsewhere. Been using it for 7 years. The whole thing is hopelessly out of date, and an incredible pain in the ass to do anything on.

The features available are first class and enable me to help run and manage our walking group. Support is always helpful when needed even for our free account. Paid plans receive an increased level depending on payment plan but to be honest the support I have received has met all my needs.

Hate the updates and changes when just getting adjusted to site. Most Wild Apricot people have been kind as I attempt to walk me through changes. Keep getting better don't go backwards.
Easy to use and reliable.
A well-rounded integrated solution
Wild Apricot is an excellent integrated solution for membership, events, and website. Like any integrated solution, it has some limitations/quirks across the three modules. The website design limitations seem to be the ones our organization struggles with most. Tech support is strong and they review suggestions for enhancements, upgrades, and/or changes regularly. We are looking forward to taking advantage of the new Store feature, no more "faking an event" to sell an item or subscription! : )
Wild Apricot offers value
Wild Apricot offers value for the dollar paid if an organization uses all the services offered. On the other hand, if only accepting membership dues and posting an occasional newsletter (barebones membership services) is all that is needed then this is a pricey alternative. It is believed that this is typical of such service-oriented membership options. The outstanding feature of Wild Apricot is that its support people were extremely helpful in solving user-perceived problems.
Very satisfied but a couple of inputs
Very satisfied but a couple of concerns.
1. Seeing a lot of changes that seem to be coming from the new parent company. While most of it is good sometimes marketing and finance functions overpower the technical side and the user side. Just make sure you listen to the users and the ones closest to the users. Nothing specific at this time but kinda of a gut feel.
2. The Mobil App for members has the option to "pay later". From our experience and a couple of inputs I've seen via the Membership Tribe Facebook page it appears that other user organizations may be experiencing this as well. This is "too tempting" to many folks, especially in this day in age. Can this be fixed so that membership or registration is not complete unless there is payment. I believe with the browser version people can "sent a check" (which I can live with), but Mobil app users are most likely more technical and are used to paying on line anyway. If this was fixed we could really "talk up" the Mobil app to our membership.

All inclusive website application
If you are looking for an inclusive web-based application to setup and easily maintain a website, manage your customer database, send regular newsletters, email event promotion with online event registration, sell product, create reports, then Wild Apricot is a stellar product. If you should have any questions or problems, their customer support by phone or online is superior to any customer support I have used. Yes, Wild Apricot does all this from one web application. You pay based on the number of records in your database.

Very difficult to use
I needed to call about a declined…
I needed to call about a declined payment from my bank. I had contacted the bank and due to fraud measures and you being out of the country they had declined payment. They told me they would relax those procedures if the payment went through that day. Otherwise it would be declined again. I called Wild Apricot and spoke to a woman who told me that there was nothing she could do and I needed to email. I told her that I had already emailed but the email states it could take 24 to 48 hours for a response and the payment had to go through that day. She again told me that she couldn't do anything to help me and I said in an irritated manner "you mean I am spending over 500 dollars on software and you can't......." and she hung up on me. I called back and at this point I was ripped, the second person I spoke to was very nice even with my irritation at this point and he called the billing department for me and they put the payment through immediately, it cleared and was all set. I thanked her for her help and she was going to pass along what had happened.
This software is expensive, the prices are ridiculous for what we need. You raised your prices to the point that my board is giving me a hard time about the software and the additions that you added were not things that we need, use or want. Then to have someone hang up on me when I call to make that payment is honestly maddening and really makes me rethink the value of the software and whether there are other programs that would work for us and not charge as much.
Wild Apricot Offers a fine Product but it's expensive
Wild Apricot provides an excellent website-hosting platform. It's very comprehensive and offers a large range of features. My only reservation is the cost. Even though our organization has only a small number of members and we use only a fraction of our allowed memory, we are forced to pay a high price for our application because the operation of of our site requires a lot of administrators.
Works for us
For a modest organization of less than 200 members who are distributed over a wide region this program has many convenient features to keep up membership communications.
All the features you would like to have…
All the features you would like to have in a membership system, and then some more. The total integration of membership administration, financials, events and website makes running a membership organisation a pleasure.
Support is fast, adequate and friendly. And I swear: this is my own opinion. Now using WA almost 2 years and getting more and more out of it.
This platform is easy to use
This platform is easy to use, even for newbies at managing websites. It has all the features that our club needs to manage events and communication.
It enabled us to move into the 21s Century!
We're a small not-for-profit wildlife rescue organisation. Wild Apricot provides everything we need to manage our internal processes around membership and communications. Wild Apricot provides a whole host of functionality in one application and enabled our organisation to upgrade our entire range of Information Technology capabilities.
HIGHLY Recommended Platform for an Integrated Organization Management and Website
I moved my writers organization onto Wild Apricot over five years ago and have NEVER regretted it. It automates tasks that used to take hours and brings together membership and event management onto our website platform. It is easy enough to use that we no longer need a developer to maintain the site.
When we run into issues the Wild Apricot staff has been very responsive and provides easy to use instructions to resolve questions. They also have plenty of training to help you unlock the power of the platform.
HIGHLY recommend it.
