DO NOT HONOUR THERE BETS!

I had a winning Bet with William Hill online and they have 'Refused' to honour by Bett?
I have been in contact with there 24hr service team(A1) and they keeping telling the Team are looking in to this matter?
They have taken my Bet and my money and have not honoured my winnings.
This is Illegal.
All you good people out there who like a Bet Do not go any near William Hill online, they WILL NOT HONOUR THERE BETS! Lots of Excuses not to pay! 🤔
The one thing Guaranteed 'They will take your Bet but if it is a winning Bet they will find any Excuse Not to Pay.
They have almost lost all there High street shops and if they continue Not Honouring people's winning Bets they will end up Closing this online business.
I will be writing to The Obsuman as well as my local MP.
SHAME ON YOU 'WILLIAM HILL ONLINE.'
Have you No Shame?
I know the Answer to that a Big NO.
If this can help just one person out there then at least I've helped. 👍

I guess everyone is right

In May, I was playing a slot with £5 stakes and triggered a bonus round. The bonus never loaded or paid out, so I raised the issue with William Hill at the time.

Weeks went by with no resolution. I raised it again in June, and I was told the issue needed to be re-escalated. Fine — I provided everything they asked for, including the relevant dates and transaction details.

Then, two weeks later, I was told I hadn’t provided the transaction ID.

Seriously?

I have screenshots showing that the transaction ID was provided — not once, but twice. So either the information being supplied isn’t being properly checked, or nobody is actually taking responsibility for resolving the complaint.

I eventually took it to the Second Opinion Team, expecting someone to finally look at the evidence properly. Four days ago, I received their response — and unbelievably, I was told the exact same thing: no transaction ID had been provided.

At this point, it’s beyond frustrating. I’ve repeatedly provided the information requested and have evidence to prove it, yet I’m still being told that I haven’t provided it.

Then came the £20 offer to close the complaint.

I declined.

This isn’t about accepting £20 and making the problem disappear. It’s about the principle and the absolutely appalling way this complaint has been handled. I raised it in May, chased it again in June, supplied the requested information, provided screenshots, escalated it further — and I’m still being given the same response.

The live chat experience hasn’t helped either. Some of the responses are so robotic and generic that it genuinely feels like you’re communicating with AI rather than someone actually reading and understanding what you’re saying.

I’ve now accepted that I’m probably never going to receive the bonus or any potential winnings that could have resulted from it. What I haven’t accepted is being repeatedly told I didn’t provide information that I can literally prove I provided.

William Hill, you have turned what should have been a straightforward issue into months of unnecessary hassle.

Extremely poor communication. Extremely poor complaint handling. And, ultimately, a very disappointing experience.

I won’t be recommending William Hill based on this experience.

I got a notification for 10 free spins today when I opened it it didn’t give me nothing. Spoke to a manager in the live chat basically called me a liar. Didn’t help me wasted an hour of my time basically did not care. They do not care for their customers, they don’t care about anybody. All they care about is taking money off people.

Banned / Restricted for winning on a gambling site????

William Hill - another betting app that bans/restrict you once you start winning.

I get it - but you are a gambling site that makes millions every year from vunerable punters - as soon as someone comes along and starts winning a few bets.

No notification or emails

Horrible Site - stay well clear.

Banned from promotions and free games…

Banned from promotions and free games for no reason. They said they can do this whenever they want without reason. I've been a customer for many years and find this absolutely appalling. Dont even get me started about the bloody bot.

I have been asking to withdraw funds…

I have been asking to withdraw funds for nearly 1 month now. The card which the money is withdrawn to has now been cancelled as I have upgraded my account at Nationwide. Funily enough, I am able to make deposits through a live card but any winnings automatically defer to the cancelled card meaning funds stay with William Hill.

I went into the shop at the Bedwell branch of Stevenage and the lady behind the counter said that she is hearing lots of complaints like these and that the company are losing money. She gave me the direct e-mail address of the CEO (Per Widerstrom, I am not allowed to put e-mail addresses online but you will be able to find it). I e-mailed him and he directed the complaint to a "2nd opinion". They asked me for a copy of my passport and bank statement so they can credit the funds to my account. This was on the 28/8 and I have still not heard anything. I have chased the complaint e-mail address address and Per's e-mail direct yesterday but have not heard anything.

From what I have also read, William Hill have been taken over by a Greek casino company and is not subject to UK regulation. I have pretty much made provisions not to get my money back. PLEASE AVOID WILLIAM HILL AND PER WIDERSTROM.

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with William Hill's current customer service.

As a regular and loyal customer who deposits frequently, I have never received any loyalty free bets or promotional rewards on my account. To make matters worse, I have been trying to reach their Live Chat support, but there is zero response or assistance available.

It seems loyalty is completely unrewarded here, and customer support is non-existent when you need help. I hope account management actually reads this review and addresses my account issues

They scammed me

They scammed me. I opted into a promo “stake £5 for 5 free spins” and if you’ve used William Hill you’ll know you only see the progress bar after opt-in. I completed the staking but it got stuck at £4.90/£5 (their issue) and now they’re saying I never even opted in (one big fat lie, how else could I have seen the stuck £4.90/£5 stake?!)

TLDR;
1) Won’t give prizes you’ve won
2) Customer service doesn’t exist (not a joke, it’s just a robot providing links to useless help articles that you can find and probably already read)
3) Complaints team is useless
4) Complaints team ignoring my request for deadlock letter to proceed to IBAS

I personally will never use William Hill ever again after being a frequent customer for the last 7 years nearly, you shouldn’t either. There’s far better places to play like Betfred, Coral or Paddypower, they actually pay and have working customer service.

the only way this company can help me…

the only way this company can help me is by putting my £1,300 back into my account which they have stolen off me and refuse to give my winnings from horse racing back.the staff on the message site have admitted to me I do have the money on the site but won't help me get my money out,the staff are as dishonest as william hill are.I have sent 12 bank statements in to them as they kept promising that I would get the full money back through my bank account SURPRISE the DISHONEST CLOWNS LIED, am I surprised well no not now as I have read some horror stories about WILLIAM HILL AND THE PEOPLE THAT WORK FOR THEM. THE SITE MUST BE DOING REALLY BAD FOR THEM TO WANT TO STEAL MY £1,300. DO NOT JOIN A SCAM SITE LIKE WILLIAM HILL AS THEY ARE TOTAL RIP OFF MERCHANTS.

I did a parlay of 9 legs

I did a parlay of 9 legs, and won 8. Didn't even offer a cashout even when the last game I'm waiting still started playing. It was insane to lose money and won 8 legs. I will never again use their service/app. I heard good stories about other betting app. I will choose to go that way for parlays more than 6 legs.
