Service and benefits have declined
We have banked with WB&T for many years. It seems that their service and benefits of banking there have decreased over the years. We have had checking, savings, business, and investment accounts. The perks are nonexistent anymore. We used to be able to get checks free of charge and cashier's checks as a courtesy. My last cashier's check was $5, even though we have been there for years. They have made a good bit of money from our accounts over the years. It feels like there aren't incentives to stay there. The only things keeping us there are the inconvenience of having to change direct deposit and autopayments that are set up with them, and the fact that we love their investmentbanking service. One of my most recent experiences was at their drive-thru. The teller was not friendly and it took over 10 minutes to small amounts of cash into 2 separate accounts. We probably will be switching banks in the near future.
