BEWARE!
BEWARE!! this company has been refusing to return my deposit of £3,225. I contacted them for some windows and they visited me and we agreed the type of windows and the price, just over £12k for a large front room window, a smaller bedroom window and a back door. I was happy & paid £3,250 deposit on 30.1.26.
Then I wanted to confirm a detail and had a lot of trouble getting through to them. A few days later their representative came round to see me and said I couldn't have the window I wanted (it was Victorian and I wanted it refurbished & secondary glazing installed) and I'd have to choose a new one and it would cost at least £4k extra.
I said I wanted my money back. They sent someone to see me and I told him the same. He went off saying he'd 'speak to his boss'. In my experience many salesmen use the 'talk to my boss' technique to put pressure on or evade accountability. They do use heavy sales tactics.
That was the last I heard of them. I've emailed and phoned to get my deposit back but despite the contract saying it will give deposits back within 14 days. I've had nothing and it's 3 weeks.
This company are not honest. Don't risk your money - go somewhere else.
UPDATE I have just got my money back via the bank on 7.3.26, I hope they got it back from the company. the bank say there are some circumstances in which I would I need to repay it. I guess I just have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, avoid this company altogether.
