Good communication, collected on time, well chosen route, comfortable car

Terrible experience with this company earlier today.
We booked a cab to take our son and grandson to the airport for the first leg of their journey back to Australia. We later received a phone call from the company informing us our son had refused to pay on arrival at the airport, saying he had neither cash nor money in his bank account. We were unable to reach our son to confirm what would have amounted to fraud/theft. In the end, we settled the bill ourselves, after multiple calls and messages from the company demanding payment.
When we eventually managed to contact our son he explained that he had been informed on arrival at Gatwick that the bill had already been settled. We later spoke to the driver who confirmed this was in fact the case, and he had given our son the wrong information.
I appreciate that mistakes happen, but to suggest that my son had refused payment and committed a criminal offence is truly reprehensible.
This experience has left a bitter taste in all our mouths. We won't be using this outfit again.
