I ❤️ my windkat cowl

I ❤️ my windkat cowl! The draw of our jet master fire has improved immeasurably since installation of the cowl. No longer smoking when the wind is in the wrong direction. Philip gave great advice when I first contacted him and was amazing when I stupidly ordered the wrong size, refund as soon as it was returned and dispatched the right one really quickly. The cowl was super quick and easy to install. Thank you Philip for great customer service.

Poor customer service. Poor communication.

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but feel it’s appropriate here given the poor customer service. Maybe this review will make them change their approach to providing customer service.

I spoke to Philip via email advising that I wanted to place an order but it was essential that it arrived before Christmas, as our scaffolding was due to come down before Christmas and I didn’t want to have to pay for another month.

Philip was helpful in advising on the correct Windkat to use for our property - although really the website should have been able to provide me with this information and that wasn’t the case. Philip did assure me that the delivery would arrive before Christmas so I placed the order. The order has not arrived.

Nobody answers their phones, and although Philip did respond to emails before I placed the order, as soon as I placed the order he stopped replying to emails and hasn’t provided a tracking number.

Windkat Cowls are supposedly a high quality product but the UK customer service is a complete let down and has totally undermined the brand.

Philip advised that they are in the process of moving to a new warehouse, so surely they should either completely pause orders and customer service until the move is complete (and add a message to their website and phone system), or allocate sufficient time to fulfil orders during the move and make sure customers who have placed an order are still looked after.

As a result of this poor communication I now have to extend the hire of the scaffolding by another month, at significant expense. What a let down.
