Buyer beware
We paid a down payment of $49,000 in October 2024 of a $100,000 total cost to replace the siding in our 3 story Cape Cod style home. They started March 12, 2025 by taking all remaining siding off-Our expectation from their communication to us, that the job would take 5-6 weeks-4 months plus 1 week later they left. During this time they seldom had a crew beyond 1 helper if they showed up. It was made crystal clear when I told them of damages they were making that I should hold the contractor responsible. That is how i learned they subbed out the job. I already paid $2000.00 to repair an AC unit-i have contracted with another firm to start interior repairs caused by water from having all siding off during stormy weather-my total cost of interior repairs will be around $ 25,000, and finally i have an electrician coming to properly reinstall and inspect out door plugs which their contract said they would trim around. They just pulled off instead. Finally, they forgot where the gutters belonged and they just put up randomly so i am going to have to contract with another company to have that corrected. During the 4 months here they used one flower bed as a dump for scrap even though they has a trash trailer and trash blew all over neighborhood and i had to apologize to several. They need to get out of siding and stick to windows. They had their contractor get my final $50,000. This was an expensive lesson and i hope they get their act together. There are more issues but this covers most.
