Great product. Great service from... wait for it...a CHATBOT named Garry. He's cheerful, cheeky, competent and will help you get any difficulties resolved most of the time without any human intervention! Of course humans are readily available if needed, but in my experience, Garry has handled difficulties like a star. The folks who programmed him deserve huge kudos for the only chatbot I've ever encountered that rivals a real human. Highly recommended app that does the job exceptionally well. 5 stars!

VPN Seems to work. Windows app is responsive. Price is good. Garry helped me escape a 7000 year purgatory. He seems nice.

Windscribe just works. It has so many useful features . Garry the Windscribe AI/help guru knows everything and he's also a scream.

Could NOT have made Windscribe work after the 2FA requirement, with different Browsers creating issues.

I have been a user for the past 5 years and tried many other VPN's and came back to Windscribe. It is simple to use, if you need help their GARRY automated assistant will help you whenever. It has great settings to keep you private, anonymous blocks malware and very easy to use. If you use the Client and the Extension you become invisible on the World Wide WEB. Great price too only 69$ per year. Once configured it blocks all the nasty things out there. Having worked in IT for over 30 years it is Simply the Best in VPN software, best protection, best privacy and cheap for all that it does!

I had a problem with my connexion and I used Garry the Windscribe Bot. It worked perfectly after a couple of tries. You have to take your time and not be afraid to follow the advices. It is my first review but not the first time I had problems, and each time it was fixed...

I was introduced to WindScribe by my nephew, Matt (thanks Matt)back in February 2025 and I must say, here and now, that it's probably one of the best, no it IS the best decision I have ever made when it comes to software/an app!

Gone are those nasty inflated priced VPNs like Nord or Proton as you can get virtually the same thing (if not better, IMHO) for as little as $3/month, yes THREE DOLLARS a month.

What do you get for this? Well, it's a little hard to understand, but basically you choose 2 geographical locations (countries) where you want your VPN "server" to be based ($2, $1 for each location), receive UNLIMITED DATA ($1) which equates to $3/month.

But don't stop there, you can add additional geographical locations for an extra $1 per location so enhancing your choices of where you wish to connect.

Their software is top notch and they also offer an extension for Chrome (although, from my own experience, it's not wise to run both the standalone software AND extension at the same time).

Both are fully customizable with your choice of location (from the ones you selected when enrolling), VPN protocol (WireGuard, IKe2, UDP, TCP, Stealth or WStunnel), choosing your preferred port (default is 443) and more.

Don't worry if you're confused by all this as they have an excellent, and I do mean excellent, AI customer service bot called Garry. I have never had cause to trust AI bots before, but I tell you, even though I've thrown the most awkward of questions at him, sometimes not grammatically correct either, he has always responded in an easy to understand way. And if he answers what you believe to be incorrect, or he doesn't answer giving you enough information (although he tends to ask if you want him to go into more detail, or show you the next steps blah, blah, blah), you can always make an adjustment to what or how you asked the question originally and he will explain in a more layman's terms. If he realises he's misunderstood you, he will correct himself and give you a more accurate response.

And there's none of this "Can you tell me your first name" rubbish once you have an account and logged in; in fact he'll know about what account plan you're on too with which locations.

Excellent and fun platform and Garry says hes a good worker.

I found the instant chat with Garry the AI support to be brilliant and got me the answers I needed and what I needed easily :)

I followed the steps to download the App on my MacOs .... but couldn't connect to their server for some reason ? I used the CHAT for help and it guided me through the installation and downloading from GitHub .... maybe some sort of AI ? called Garry ? If human or not , it was very useful , and very funny .... good sense of humor

I'm giving 5 stars because the app is great and the AI Garry is also great. I don't like the billing. At all. Cool that they grandfather you in at the price you initially paid, but not cool if that price is higher than their promos. Boo!

I've been a Windscribe VPN user for multiple years (can't even remember that first time) and I never had any major problem using their service. They are very reliable and pretty decent speed in my opinion, also the rate are very affordable especially if you avail of their promo every once in a while (Black Friday wink wink)

BTW, when you are on their website don't forget to try chatting with their bot "Garry" and you won't regret it. He is one hilarious bot, this is how help chat bot should be.
