HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I ordered a Christmas gift to be delivered the day before Christmas. The item was not received until days AFTER Christmas and the fruit was not fresh, and not edible. I asked for a refund and was told it would be within 2 weeks?! Charges go through immediately. It's highly disappointing when you support businesses that pride themselves on quality products and find out otherwise. Not only did they not receive their gift in time for Christmas, the fruit was not edible. I emailed my disappointment in having to wait 2 weeks for a refund and stated I would have to put the charge in dispute if not done sooner. We send large amounts of company gifts and it's unacceptable to have to chase down refunds simply because a business doesn't want to refund their poor quality product. The customer service rep told me to put the charge in dispute and get my money refunded that way. Apparently she doesn't care that her company gets dinged and flagged for these types of poor business practices. When a company has a chargeback they can either refund the monies or let it sit and look bad on their part. The credit card companies give the credit to the customer and then have to do the less than pleasant deed of working with this company. Don't let a company tell you they can't authorize the credit once in dispute because they most certainly can issue the credit. Companies prefer customers to cancel the dispute because they know once it is canceled it cannot be re-opened and the consumer is screwed. BUYER BEWARE. She asked me to cancel the dispute so she could refund me. SCAM. UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Deceptive advertising.

In a hurry and I ordered the Mondavi Triple thinking it was two bottles of each as displayed in the picture. Nope. One bottle each. That kind of deception will keep me from ever using Winebasket again.

DO NOT Order from winebasket.com

First and LAST time ordering from winebasket.com ! I ordered there "White Wine & Birthday Gift Basket" that was supposed to contain an assortment of brownies, cookies Moscato white wine and as their title indicates a BASKET. What the recipient received was a bottle of Chardonnay and RED TIN of stale cookies similar to Christmas cookie tins and NO BASKET! The only accurate thing received was the personalized ribbon. Classic case of what I ordered versus what I received. I truly wish I could attach the pictures to this review. DO NOT be fooled by the images on their website! It is NOT what you will get. Funny how I couldn't leave a review directly on their website. SCAMMERS!!

Very disappointed

Very disappointed, ordered a gift basket for a birthday and was never received by the recipient. Customer service is rude and blames their shipping service when in fact it’s their responsibility to get the product to the recipient. Do not order

I ordered the Cucina Wine Basket and had it shipped to Arizona from Illinois for my daughter’s birthday. Shipping was prompt and was kept updated on delivery. She loved the basket!!! I would order again, thank you:)

Poor Customer Service

I purchased a $300 wine and chocolate basket. At checkout I was told I had to select $44 overnight shipping due to the risk of the chocolate melting. So I went with the overnight shipping. But the basket didn't arrive on the date promised but three days late. With two of the pieces of chocolate partially melted.

I contacted the company and requested a shipping credit, which they agreed to. It's now 2+ weeks later and no credit. So I contacted the company again just now and they said their accounting department "is a bit backed up." What? The refund is literally a keystroke for them. Not sure what's going on but it's fishy.

I usually purchase gift baskets for clients from WineCountry.com but went with WineBasket.com for the first time because they had a basket I wanted. And this was my first and last purchase from them. Not sure this is a reputable company.

Disappointed

This company is a joke. They ask you to type what you want on the ribbon for your basket. Then, they deliver a basket with a plain ribbon. Customer Service is a joke!

Order elsewhere!

Unprofessional Business

The delivery was quite slow for a gifting website. Further, they used FedEx who claimed several attempted deliveries to a building with package reception. The kicker is that they charged me $20 for the undelivered product. The customer service there is terrible and I will not be ordering from them again.

Don't ever use Winebasket.com

Don't ever use Winebasket.com! I ordered on the 3rd, and on the 11th they delivered it to the WRONG address, got a signature from someone NOT my Brother, and then yelled at me on the phone, insisting I wrote the wrong address! They refused any refund, and would not work out sending a basket to the right address. Rude and insulting girl.
