Excellent service

Excellent service! Brilliant barrel converted to a bar. Put in an order via email & collected about 3 weeks later.
Matt was very prompt in replying.
The gentleman in warehouse was very helpful & put the barrel in the car for us.

Don’t trust these people

Don’t trust these people. Placed an order through Amazon to be fulfilled by this company. I paid extra for it to be delivered Saturday. All the emails said I would get it by 2000 on Saturday. Except that DPD said they hadn’t got the parcel yet! Come 2000 and suddenly delivery is delayed 4 days. It was needed today to plant up for a 100th birthday tomorrow. If these people had been honest, I could have gone out and bought one. Do not rely upon this firm

Terrible customer service.

I ordered a barrel from them through Amazon. I got a message from Amazon that delivery had been attempted but could not be completed, and I needed to contact the carrier. When I did, I provided them with my shipping number. They asked to verify the delivery address. When I gave them the address -- which is clearly visible on the Amazon order page, and is the same address I've used many times in the past couple weeks without issue -- they said it didn't match what they had, and as such, they could help me no further. Apparently they had a different/wrong address than the one on my Amazon order. So I reached out to Amazon, who sent the seller a message. I replied to that message to provide additional detail. I never heard back (I was told to wait 48 hours for a response) but when I got up the next day, I had a message from Amazon that my order had been refunded. I did not request a refund. I wanted the item I ordered. I wanted the seller to provide customer service and solve my issue. Instead I got no explanation, and my order was cancelled against my will. This is no way to run a business. I have documentation and screenshots available to verify my account of what happened. No attempt was made to fix the issue. No attempt was made to contact me. They just ended the order -- what a tremendously frustrating experience, and incredible waste of my time. Now I have to wait to see if the refund I was issued actually shows up. Based on some of the one-star reviews on Amazon, I'm not holding my breath. Would give zero stars if it were possible.

I am sorry that you`ve had this experience by Amazon. Sadly when using Amazon we lose a lot of control and in this instance, Amazon could not see the tracking information and as a result they automatically refund the customer.. So not only are your disappointed but we are now £100+ out of pocket. Another reason why we ask people to order through our website and not through the big selling platforms.

Highly recommend

After having had a terrible experience with kingofcrates we put an order in with wineboxesetc- so glad we did! The delivery was super speedy and the crates are fantastic! Thanks so much! Absolutely recommend wineboxesetc!

Highly recommended!

Excellent service today, friendly welcome, great product at a good price. We bought 2 half barrels and they very kindly drilled drainage holes for us and also carried them to the car. Would highly recommend!

Communication could be better. Much better.

I bought some bourbon barrel pieces for smoking for their website (they also have an Etsy store too) The product was fine and as expected. My original order include some other items. It seems when you order from a mobile phone it doesn't show you that items are out of stock. Matt ( I presume the owner) quickly email me to inform me that they were out of stock and he would refund the difference. All good. But he has ignored all me emails communication since. Maybe he didn't think it was important enough to warrant a response. Maybe on a more important matter he would have. I did receive an automatic email stating that due to current restrictions they are taking longer to reply than usual, I know people are busy but a one line email take seconds. I received over 400 email a day and am able to action / respond to every one. Be interesting if he responds to this.
