Wines Direct is an Irish family owned and operated wine importers. The wines we offer you represent a 25-year labour of love. We are uncompromising in our mission to source independently made wines directly from growers around the world and we apply our strict selection criteria to each and every wine on our list, from the everyday to the extraordinary.
We go out of our way to avoid the boring, mass-produced wines so as to create and sustain a market of choice for you and your fellow wine lovers. We do so by walking the ground of the world’s famous and not so famous wine regions and by directly sourcing from dedicated and fiercely independent winemakers. Where the supermarket chains sponsor homogeneity and bulk production, we believe our approach encourages diversity, independence and quality.

Seamless and very good ordering process and payment experience.
But!
Wine was almost a week late, I had ordered the wine for a party and had to go to another company to fulfil the order, although I had a very pleasant phone call from a company representative who was very apologetic and assured me of a better experience in future.
I must rate on my one and only experience to date however and should I use wines direct again and be prompted to rate I will do so honestly and fairly. I will be reluctant to order in future any closer to a fortnight before I need the wines.

Better quality and suppliers at small premium
I have always enjoyed the wine from Wines direct. They offer a quality that is guaranteed and the best part is that the wines are different and not available in the shops. It is a little expensive and there are some fantastic wines available in the discount supermarkets but sometimes it is nice to get a higher level of quality direct from relatively small suppliers for not a dramatic amount more.
