This Ebike is awesome

This Ebike is awesome! I’m out riding just about every day. When I had a regular bike it was a few times a month. Planning to get a second one for our house later this month. Very easy to use, feel like a kid again

AWESOME

AWESOME. We bought two wing e-bikes last year to ride along the bike paths and our neighborhood and they are perfect. They look very cool but also ride very well. We did test rides before purchasing from their site.

Customer service has been superb. Shout out to Ilya for great support for my silly questions.

Love my FreedomX

Nothing but good things to say after about a year of having the Freedom X. Two weeks ago I had an issue with my rear brake rubbing and a quick email to support with photos and they were able to get me sorted. I would recommend after a few months to go to a nearby bike shop to just get brakes/gears adjusted but really this is wise for any bike I've ever had when new.

The bike is light, fun to ride and super stable. I get stopped all the time by people asking about it.

Highly recommend the X

I've owned the Freedom X for almost 2 years now. I ride 70-90 miles every week on it. Every component on the bike has held up. Only thing I had to replace was the break pads and which my local shop did for $40. I’m considering getting my lady the ST so we can ride together. My neighbor has it and is happy.

Customer service has been great and responds quickly. The bike is much lighter than other e-bikes and rides really smoothly. I still get about 45 miles per charge on the biggest battery but used to get more when it was new. Overall, very happy. Great bike.

False Advertisement and Terrible Customer Service!

I recently had an encounter with WING Bikes that I would not wish upon my worst enemy. I purchased the Freedom-ST bike on Aug 31, 2022, and opted for the assembly service during checkout (by paying an extra $200). The bike arrived on Sep 8, but, to my dismay, they couldn't arrange an assembly professional until Sep 29. This was already a red flag given the premium I paid for the assembly.

However, the real issues began in July of this year. In the middle of a ride, the bike shut off after displaying erratic battery levels. The bike would randomly power on and turn off from this point on. After multiple emails with "Billy" from their support team and enduring long waiting periods, they diagnosed the issue as being the controller. Upon replacement (which was a hassle in itself), the problem persisted.

Now, here's the kicker: despite raising the issue well within my warranty period, they conveniently stated that my warranty had expired on Aug 31. They ignored the fact that they themselves couldn't even schedule the bike's assembly until almost a month after my order date. Additionally, the warranty claim was initiated within the period, but their inability to address it led to its lapse.

Their suggestion? Buy a new battery from their website, on my dime. What was supposed to be a seamless e-bike experience turned into an exhausting ordeal. And while their website touts the idea that any local bike shop can handle their bike repairs, I quickly learned that this is far from the truth. Several bike shops refused to touch it due to the brand not being on their approved list.

WING Bike claims to offer "world-class customer service," but my experience was anything but. If you're considering buying from them, I'd strongly advise against it. Save yourself the trouble and the heartache. My advice? Choose an eBike company that's renowned for its exceptional customer service (either through recommendations or your own in-depth research). Many, like myself, initially prioritize technical reviews and the price point when buying an eBike, but when the company doesn't honor the warranty terms and cannot offer competent and timely tech support, you will regret this decision!

WING BIKES ARE MISLEADING PEOPLE,,,AVOID,,

DO NOT BUY A BIKE FROM THIS COMPANY. I took delivery on the Step thru Model bike, 26" tires. on July 3,2023. I assembled the bike the same day of delivery and took the bicycle for a ride on July 4,2023. The bicycle was very small for a 5 ft 11 inch person, the bike was not very stable at 18 MPH, the tires are to narrow for high speed over 18 MPH, the seat is horrible and the response time is almost non existing.
Wing bikes is advertising "NO QUESTIONS ASKED ON THE RETURN POLICY" This is false adverstizing. On July 4, 2023, I spoke with Billy and told him I wanted to return the bicycle and he asked me why and how many miles are on the bicycle. I ride a bike 22 to 28 miles a day. This bike had a short 13 miles test ride and on July 4,2023, Billy told me the return policy is 5 miles or less and that it is in the warranty. When I spoke to a person prior to ordering the bike, they did not say anything about the miles limited on the return policy. The bike is shipped in a box with the bike only and nothing else, NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS, NO WARRANTY INSTRUCTIONS, NO MANUAL. Try and buy this bike on Amazon. Amazon only does business with quality companies.

I like mine

Purchased the Freedom X during Spring of 2022. Delivery was very quick. The big box was damaged, but everything inside was good with lots of protective tape and seemingly endless zip ties securing everything.

Assembly would have been easier with a professional stand, but I managed. Instructions were reasonably clear. Not sure how one is expected to follow the torque specs with an allen wrench, though.

The bike rides nicely and performs flawlessly so far. I ordered the add-on throttle which is very convenient. Minor complaint is re-setting the trip odometer - that is not intuitive or explained in the manual. I found a method searching google - for a completely different bike - but it worked. Turning on/off the lights also not intuitive, but I'll probably remember how after awhile.

Overall, very pleased with my purchase.

Defective and Dangerous Products

Simply, company is full of frauds that have been banned from online bike forums for posting fake reviews, selling defective items, and currently facing mounting legal pressures for their abysmal practices and poor products.

This company is not trustworthy.

This company is not trustworthy which is why I canceled my order. I ordered the Freedom X bike and was contacted a few hours later to tell me the standard 8.8ah battery was not in stock after my credit card had already been charged. Wing customer service rep Hannah contacted me via email to upsell me on the larger capacity battery for $75. I really wanted the bike at the price advertised. I tried to call customer service to find out when the 8.8ah battery would be back in stock. No luck there - there is no customer service, only "Hannah". Their customer service is a NY telephone number that goes to a weird VM. While I was waiting for a reply I did a bit of research and found this is not an isolated incident and other customers had the same experience. Selling a product that is no longer available and then trying to charge a customer a higher-priced replacement is misleading and against the law. I canceled the order immediately and will be reporting this company to BBB and posting a review on Trustpilot. Buyer beware!
