Great Principal =Great School
I have hand children in Winterfield for 10 years now. I have seen a lot of changes including 3 Principals. Not to take away from what the other Principals have contributed to the school, but since Mr. Preston has taken over I feel my students especially my oldest who is in 9th grade now, but started Winterfield at Kindergarten felt more engaged when Mr. Preston came. He talked to the students and seemed to genuinely care for their opinions and input. Due to him and the leadership staff their have been more functions for community involvement and extra curricular activities for the students. I feel that the presence he has showing he is there for our kids as much as we are has helped me to have more confidence in the school. Also my kids have had some really great teachers who have worked to help and challenge as needed. I am happy with my choice and hope to stay with Winterfield for the next 5 years as long as they continue with the level of care that the leaders and staff provide.

The teachers need to be better educated on having patience with the children. Class sizes could be smaller as well .

The staff are so kind, caring, and attentive to each child. I know that my child is getting a quality education at WVA.

A+++++ in education
WVA is one of the best if not the best schools in our area. The staff is very involved with the students and go the extra mile to ensure that the students succeed. Not only are the teachers great but the principle is a fearless, kind, caring, loving leader. Winterfield is highly reccommended anytime anyone ask me about a great school.

This school is helping my child grow in most areas. Wish there was a way to male someone responsoble for misplacing my child's glasses they are expensive for a teacher to loose
