Worst aap

If I can give this aap review in minus, I would. Never ever use this aap guys. It will just waste your time. It takes 5-6 days to send money overseas and on top of that they want your bank statements and payslips, even if you provide that they would still not process it. Refund takes around 3-5 business days, after holding the amount for 1 week. I would recommend use any other aap except this one. Worst to worst aap. If there is any emergency never use this aap.

Horrible service

Horrible service. They always delay remittence delivery by days on end then demand you divulge to them a lot of the most confidential financial info like your full bank account numbers, your salary, your employment etc (all in a non-secure manner). All this just to send a measly couple of hundred of dollars for an online teacher. This is not a safe app and the info they (unreasonably) collect can be used very easily for identity theft.

I used WireBarley to send money to Singapore

I used WireBarley to send money to my bank account in Singapore via PayNow to my mobile number.

WireBarley then asked for “proof” linking my PayNow mobile number and my bank account. Bank does not issue a special document for this – PayNow is the phone number linked to the account.
I already provided the bank statement for my account .
WireBarley still refused to accept this and has held my money for a long time instead of completing the transfer or refunding promptly. The verification requirement is unrealistic and the support process is very slow and frustrating.

Used to be good, but...

Don’t use this service. I’ve been their customer since 2019, and I’ve realized that they deliberately delay money transfers using excuses like “anti–money laundering regulations.” They ask intrusive personal questions to “verify” your information, but what they’re really doing is forcing you to transfer money when the exchange rate is high and only processing it when the rate drops—so they can profit from the difference. And how do you know what they’ll actually do with all the personal information you send them?

They removed all of my money in all of…

They removed all of my money in all of my accounts when I only gave them one account to withdraw $100 AUD. This account I set up initially with $122 in it.
I have not been successful in getting the funds back
Deal with them at your own peril.
They will not answer the phone either.

I’ve used Wirebarley quite a lot

I’ve used Wirebarley quite a lot. A few years ago the service was fast but the past couple weeks it takes a long time to send money overseas. It always gets stuck in “transaction under review”. This includes remittances to people that I have already sent money to before with them so I know that ID verification can’t be the issue. Also, the amounts I am sending are not large sums either. My guess is that they are understaffed and cannot handle the volume of transactions. If transactions keep taking too long, I will look elsewhere when sending money overseas.

Dumbest customer service.. stay away

Had to send $500 to my cousin who was getting married. Sent the money a week prior to his wedding and now he is at his honeymoon and the status is still showing as Transection in Review. Contacted the useless customer service via “1:1 chatting” few times and they finally got back to me with dumbest email without any explanations of the delay. Called the customer service to a US number several times and no one answered, took me right to voicemail box. It’s been almost 10 days since I sent the money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

Don’t use it. Slow, useless customer service

I tried this app thinking it may be convenient to use compared to other remittance apps. I tried to send about 3k dollars to my family who needed the fund. but to my great disappointment, transaction got stuck in ‘review’ process. When I reached out, this is the answer I got : “We ask for your understanding as internal review is currently being delayed due to an increase in remittance volume.“

I am sorry. I do not understand. No eta, no explanation why I am under review, no explanation of what I can do.

I will ask for refund after waiting for 5 more days without any change in status. Hopefully the refund process goes well. Otherwise this place is basically a scam.

Avoid at all cost

Avoid at all cost. When they do a check with you, they ask a lot of personal questions like... how much money do you have in your bank. How long have you been employed for? After sending this funds, do you still have some money left? if so how much more? Do you work for the government? How much do you earn per year? They want to know the person I am sending money to the same questions. After answering all these questions my transactions are still in review. They are useless at what they do. THEY JUST WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING BEFORE THEY CAN SEND THE FUNDS.

Lost my money

I've used them a few times with no issues. However, a month ago, I've made two transactions that were "delivered" but the recipient bank said they never received the money. Over $2,000 is floating around and I am super disappointed and will not be using again.
