What a nightmare @WirexApp has been, they blocked my card because I received bitcoin through a socialfi account and it is linked to my twitter account... beware people because you will lose your money as soon as they block you.

10 months ago I deposited £8000 for my surgery which I saved for long time I’m 62 Wirex blocked my account even I provided everything what they asked for they promised I can withdraw my £8000 up to 30 days but nothing. I emailed them multiple times but still automated reply. Create many tickets and in July receive email from support team Natalia A with bank transfer/ FAKE / EDITED / like my bank said after 3 months tracing /investigating money transfer. NO MONEY FROM WIREX // WITHDRAWAL // again I emailed them and created tickets but no response they blocked my account and access. I couldn’t understand how someone can sleep in peace after faking, playing and holding/ stealing my money FOR 10 MONTHS which I was working hard to pay for surgery .
Now I’m in depression and Wirex still holding my £8000 without reason. Where is the law for us UK 🇬🇧 client ???? And clients all over the world????? Who will help and protect us from fraud and scam like Wirex does to us.

simply stay away from this fraudsters, wirex is nothing but a refined scam operating pure frauds in disguise. As long as you use it for payments only in just one simple currency it MAY work (which I anyway doubt reading horrible experiences from other users here). As soon as you start to exchange your funds in different currencies within their app you are gonna see your money vaporized i.e. stolen by them. DO NOT USE CRYPTOS in wirex. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THEIR NATIVE WXT TOKEN: it's s-h-i-t in disguise. I had 93€ in wirex app in XRP and WXT. In order to retrieve them I had to add in several steps a total of 415 usd (otherwise they don't let you exchange neither withdraw), when I managed to get my funds exchanged and withdrawn I was left with a total of 433 usd which means that they kept for themselves OVER 80USD IN TRANSACTION FEES.

The ‘ Board’ think it’s funny to issue a shareholder update containing not one financial statistic. Late with filing to Companies House too Ah well onward to check on progress at the U.K. Fraud and SEC and MAS offices . The CEO and Chair are complete numpties. Let’s wipe that smile off .

Wirex closed my account because I received some money (!!!) and blocked an amount of 1000 euros that are not refunded to the persone who sent them to me, so now he wants to have back the money. Wirex cannot keep the money, please, someone of Wirex answer as soon as possible!!!!

I’m not satisfied with this service. Very shady and unprofessional, my experience with this company aside. Only “Sïmpłębįnåryęåsyb” still remains the best broker and no other come closer.

WIREX is a big scam. For no reason they first restricted my account and my card and now I don´t have access anymore at all. They don´t reply to any of my emails, just keeping on sending me generic emails. If you want to lose your money put it on this platform. It is not the first time. REVOLUT and MONESE did exactly the same. I´m the older generation and I can´t believe that they get away with this, while we normal people get fined for every little bit.

They are tragic simply. I have recieve 3 payments since the last 2 months and the moneys never appear to my account! The status still saying: PENDING..

Opened and verified a Wirex account to fund a trading account with Virgobanc.
Virgobanc has turned out to be an investment scan and Wirex say they are unable to identify destination of payments…

This is the second time they have restricted and delayed my withdrawal from my account.

1.They have no phone line for customer service.
2.The only way to contact is one email address that they take for ever to reply to.
3.there is no update to keep you calm instead I'm hear worrying if i will be able to save my daughters birthday before they sort out their problem.
4.Why create a service that gives so many of us users more problems than solutions.

WARNING! Do not open an account or transfer money, they will lock you out for no reason at all! ANYONE WHO CAN please report this company to the FCA. Customer service does not respond and when they do, they demand more documents that are not important!

I'm really speechless, I've been a Wirex customer since 2021 and I've always defended it from bad comments because so far it worked very well for me and I've never had any kind of problem with them, but when I started making movements big, that's where the problem came from, I currently have €948 in my account and they have restricted it from sending the documents that they were not requesting and two weeks have passed and there is no response at all, I really don't understand what is happening, I have never had problems with them and one of the best platforms has always appeared to me. But now I don't understand what's going on, can someone please help me?

I'm doing this to help others as I wish I had read some of the reviews before using wirex. Wirex have blocked and large amount of accounts and are asking for the following information.

1. Please tell us what your occupation and annual income is;
2. Please specify how do you plan to use your Wirex account:
3. Advise how you accumulated your total wealth; and
4. Provide proof of funds in a form of an official document that clearly shows the origin of your funds.

When you reply to this information with the correct documentation they then ask further questions and are delaying me accessing my own cash. Just to be clear this is fiat cash that I have deposited and is nothing to do with cryptocurrency. I have explained on multiple occasions how important this money is to me as it's everything I have. I have needed this money for groceries and products for my children (nappies etc). All you will ever get from them is "I will pass it on to the relevant team" or "you will have full access to your account within 48 hours". If you're reading this and you haven't opened an account with wirex yet please don't. For your own safety and financial well-being stay well away from this disgraceful company. This company has caused me distress and has affected my life and mental health. DO NOT USE WIREX!!!

Cannot send funds , nor withdraw with card , opened a ticket , no one is responding . Got close to 2k euros frozen . Ticket opened almost 48 h ago .

Some hackers stole money from my dad's and my uncle's accounts. We provided all the info requested and asked to see their logs to find out what happened. Wirex won't take responsibility for having a penetrable backend and won't provide the information needed to understand what happened. Very amateur and unprofessional customer service to boot.
I told everyone I know, they took their money out and they're using other platforms. I thought I'd warn the general public too!
Also, when I was using it in the last couple of years they stopped the function that enables customers to take money out for months (yes, all cuatomers - they needed an upgrade to fix the issue and they took months to produce it). They blocked my transactions when I was trying to sell and take all my money out of my account. Reason: error. I told their support, they wrote back to me after months (I had already taken my money out as I kept trying) saying that they didn't have a reason for the error and they were going to close the enquiry. No responsibility, no interest in their customers'experience, no interest in providing a good product, just shallow, untimely and unprofessional responses to achieve the ultimate great purpose: close the ticket.

Well, I saw the add and thought what a great product - and signed up to join. Sent in document, and then received a form to complete by return. Did that in accord with its structure and then nothing. Sent in around 5 emails to their support (joke service) and have had zero responses. 10 days on they are still running the verification process. This leaves me thinking here is another scam company who are feeding of the back of the Crypto Industry. Having said that I am using the Baanx #CL Card on Ledger and it works just fine so as a positive alternative I can recommend that product as a good way to go. Avoid Wirex at all cost.

Still waiting for my money, allready 1 year and only promises from them.

Wirex must win the award as to how not to run a business and how to mistreat clients, stakeholders and regulators. Russian-linked through Monte Carlo; a serious pile of junk ponzi.
