Don’t purchase from this company

Don’t purchase from this company, period. I intended on ordering a gift basket and the catalog stated if I mentioned the promo code and membership number, I’d get free shipping. I chose the basket and entered the required info, and the website said I had no items that qualified for free shipping. So, I called, and all they did was try to upsell me on purchasing a “free shipping package” for $30… this was a one time purchase so how ridiculous it would be for me to do that… otherwise, they’ll charge you $20 for shipping. After this experience I would never order anything from them.

This place sucks!

This place sucks! If I could give it zero stars I would.

I placed an order to be delivered yesterday, August 18. I have an email from Wolferman's confirming the order and delivery date. Today I track the order and learn it won't be delivered for another 10 days! Customer service supervisor tells me they usually let customers know about delays but don't know why I wasn't notified. They then offer to "overnight" my order but it won't arrive for another 3 days because they don't ship on weekends. I decide to cancel my order and am told it will take 5-10 business days to get my refund!

What kind of company doesn't ship on weekends??

Mother's day gift

I placed my order on April 23, 2023 to be delivered on May 12. It didn't arrive until May 17. Three days after the event.
The order received was nothing from my actual order.
How can a company do that without crediting the entire order.
I've ordered on several occasions and this is the second time this has happened. I will never order from them again.

Mother's Day Disaster & Tried to Steal my Money!

I ordered a gift basket for Mother's Day, and when I selected the Saturday before Mother's Day for delivery, the website showed a $35 deliver premium, which I selected. However, in checkout, the delivery fee showed up to be $45, which seemed like a sneaky way to charge more without informing the customer. I begrudgingly ordered anyway and thought all was good when on the DAY OF the scheduled delivery, I received a call from Wolferman's and was told that there was a "warehouse issue" and that the gift basket would not be delivered for another 5 days. If there was a warehouse issue, couldn't you call me BEFORE the day it was SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE? This left me 6 hours to find a new Mother's Day gift that could be delivered that same day - thanks, Wolferman's. To add icing on the cake, I called Wolferman's back a couple hours later to cancel the order entirely. After discussing with customer service, the agent told me that they would go ahead and refund $104 to my card. Wait! I knew I paid more than that, so I had to look up my order and inform the agent that I was actually charged $117 - where's my other $13? I was told, "Well, since you didn't get the expedited order, we'll go ahead and refund the other $13 as well." WHAAAT?! What a snakey criminal organization - they told me they'd "refund my order", but really had no intent of doing that - they were going to try and pocket a portion of it! NEVER AGAIN! I'm staying away from the entire 1-800 Flowers group of companies.

Easter DISAPPOINTMENT

I ordered an Easter gift on April 1 that was guaranteed to deliver by Easter April 9. The FedEx tracking showed it in Ellenwood, GA on April 4. It never made it past that point. USPS never received the package. I contacted customer service who reassured me it would be there on time. It wasn’t! I requested a refund and the tracking number disappeared. I don’t think it was ever sent. After sharing this story I found out that a relative had a similar experience. Don’t waste your time ordering from Wolfermans or Harry & David which is the same customer service. Very disappointed!!

For what this stuff cost

For what this stuff cost, never again! The "information" sheet that arrives with your order states 2 weeks in fridge or freeze them. Not even 10 days elapsed and I had to throw out 3 packages.

Extremely disappointed

Extremely disappointed! I urge you not to order from them. The English muffins have really gone down and I am extremely disappointed. Not to mention shipping is extremely slow waste of time go to the grocery store and buy your English muffins.

Pricey shipping for stale products...if they ever show up.

First time order. Ordered on Feb 24, 2023. Paid over $20 shipping. First box arrived okay but a few packages were already stale. Still waiting on second box that said it was shipped on same day but has been "on a Fedex truck" for 3 days now. Each day it says it is on the truck for delivery. Now I"m waiting for what will be at least 2 week old stale english muffins. Never again.

Wolferman's used to be excellent

Wolferman's used to be excellent, but for the last year or so have been disappointing. I ordered a berry basket on Feb 6 (and was charged for it on that date) but as of today Feb 10th, it hasn't even been received by FedEx. I will never trust Wolferman's again.

Are you serious???

Are you serious? The prices you charge are outrageous to begin with. THEN, the S/H is so high so you opt for the $29.99 for a whole year. Ok, then a year later you see another charge. OH by the way, it's an auto renewal....really, no where did I sign up for that. So I call and the person one the phone barely speaks English and there is so much noise in the background, kids, chickens etc. Waste of my time, energy and money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't order

I ordered it on the 12/10 to be received by 12/23. The order did not arrive until 12/27 and wasn't even close to the order I placed. I ordered a nice complete brunch and got three random items. For the price, you might think the items would be packaged more carefully or individually but my friend received a blobs of dough. The jelly was tiny jars about 2 teaspoons full. I did get a refund but, my friends Christmas was ruined. :(

We LOVE THESE DELICIOUS English Muffins. The Customer Service experience was Amazing. There was an error in the ordering process so not only did they issue me a credit, but also let me keep the additional order. A customer for life!!

Poor product the second or third time I have…

This is the second or third time I have been gifted the English muffins . They are very dry and no taste Either you need to adjust your recipe or stop sending stale bakery products . Very embarrassing how do you tell someone who is excited to gift you not to send that anymore

Horrible Customer Service!

On Dec. 13th, I ordered several (4) gifts to family members for Christmas. Three of the orders were the “Mix & Match Super Thick English Muffins” in a Christmas design box and the fourth was a bakery sampler in a Christmas box. While three of the gifts arrived at the recipient’s homes during the week just ahead of Christmas Day as I requested, I never even received a shipping notice on one of the M&M muffin collections although the order was confirmed when I originally placed it on Dec. 13th. Three days before Christmas and armed with the knowledge that 3 of the 4 gifts had already been delivered to my family members, I called “customer service” about the missing shipment. “Customer service” initially turned out to be entirely automated; I got the dreaded recording “all customer reps are currently busy” spiel, but stayed on the line and after about 4 mins or so got a guy with a very strong Indian accent who was quite difficult to understand. He was courteous, but his answer about the non-delivered gift was worthless—all he could tell me is that “it is scheduled to be delivered by December 25th.” Even he couldn’t tell me whether or not the item had actually shipped, just repeated “It is guaranteed to be delivered by Dec. 25th.” Well, Christmas Day came and went and my one recipient still had not received their gift, so the day after Christmas I again called “customer service” and after a few minutes wait, got a guy who identified himself as “Armando” also with a heavy accent. But after tapping on his computer for a minute or two (or whatever he was doing) this rep was at least able to tell me that my missing shipment was in Memphis, TN (it was destined for Ohio) and was delayed due to weather conditions. I’m assuming the delay had to do with the “bomb cyclone” issue and I would have understood that, but Wolfermans had never notified me via email or any other method that the shipment was delayed, just let me do all the investigative work myself instead. My recipient did not get their gift until today, Dec. 29th, and she was too polite to tell me whether or not the product still seemed fresh although had mentioned she’d had one of the muffins for a late breakfast. I did not realize when I ordered from this company (won’t make that mistake again) that Wolfermans is a division of Harry & David, which was once a good company but now has a business model that is all about assembly line products and profit and not at all customer service oriented. I’ll never place another order with Wolferman’s after the frustration and excess shipping cost associated with a gift that I couldn’t even track because the online tracking was both extremely cumbersome and virtually worthless. Reading several of the other recent reviews indicates that poor customer service is an ongoing, recurring issue with Wolfermans. I don’t know how a company survives with shipping and product substitution problems that seem to be more the rule than the occasional exception.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Bought a sympathy tower and it was never received. They had sent an email saying it was. Charged my credit card but customer service in Jamaica couldn’t find me, receipient, etc even though they are on my credit card statement. I had to do a dispute through my credit card. Never ever use them

did not receive what I ordered

I ordered a Christmas breakfast tower on 12/19/22 for a staff breakfast. I did not really expect it before Christmas even though they stated delivery of 12/23/22. I received a totally different item on 12/27/22! The item was not attractively packaged and did not contain items I needed to serve a group. I spent almost an hour on the "chat" feature before they agreed to send me a more appropriate replacement.

Missing Kringles

I ordered two two packs of Kringles on November 30 to be delivered on or before December 20. An ordered was delivered but both orders were not what I ordered. When I opened the box I sent to my husband, I discovered a tin of cookies and NOT the Kringles I expected for our Christmas breakfast. I spoke to my sister who was to receive the other order and she did receive one Kringle but not the two pack I had ordered. I called customer service this morning and discovered my order had been changed because the product was no longer available. Why was I not notified? In reading the other reviews I learned I'm not your only dissatisfied customer. There was a language barrier in my conversation with your customer service person this morning. We had difficulty in understanding each other. I have ordered from Wolferman's for quite a few years but never had any difficulty. I suggest you make more Kringles next year and also to have the courtesy of notifying customers if you decide to substitute for items that were ordered. Thank you for letting me vent!

Horrible company do not purchase from them

The review should allow 0 stars because an awful experience does not deserve any stars.
I placed an order early in November so that my gift would arrive by Dec 22.
The order never arrived, and I was not even told it was not going to arrive.
I called and they said they would refund my money, I had to try to speak to a manager and he indicated he could substitute and send it before Dec 24. This was gift for my sister and it was delivered to my address instead.

I am sooo angry right now

I am sooo angry right now. It is Christmas morning. I ordered from this company on 11/27, a month ago. You were able to pick a delivery date. I picked 12/24 for a Christmas gift. I got a text on 12/23. Sorry your shipment delayed expected 12/27!!
I paid 45.00 for shipping!! No gift! Expected two days after Christmas. The recipient will not even be home on that date!!! Bad business. Never again!
