Went in yesterday about an engine light issue and left my number after being told I’d get a callback within an hour. I also asked a couple of nearby garages for quotes, which any normal customer would do before deciding where to spend their money.

By the next day, nobody had bothered calling back, so I returned in person. Instead of being helpful, I was told they had seen me going to other garages and that “they are not in competition with them”, implying this was the reason I never received a quote.

Very poor and unprofessional attitude towards a potential customer who was simply comparing prices.
