Women Dealing With Debt Better Off Dealing By Yourself

I seen the advert for womendealingwithdebt.com on Instagram and thought it would be a good idea to ask them for help with my council tax debt. Bad idea, turns out they are just in it for the profit and sold my details onto another company called Dean Finance Limited who in turn sold me onto another company called Creditfix.

After a few months, I learned that I was better off applying for something called a Debt relief order and the only reason womendealingwithdebt.com told me to do the IVA was so they could sell my details for a massive profit. Now im stuck in this IVA for another 4 years and i'd be debt free if I had done the Debt relief order instead :-(

I don't know how they can get away with this. Is there nobody protecting people like us from these vultures. I contacted my MP and he's told me to report them to the financial conduct authority but the owners of the womendealingwithdebt.com website, Catch Media told me that they are not governed by the financial conduct authority so my complaint is useless. So if the MP cant even help. Who can?

Gutted. Feel sick and deflated that people can do this and get away with it. No one will help me. Sad beyond words.
