Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

Purchased two pillar candles and a box of tea-lights on Sunday 19th June 2016. I received a confirmation invoice that day, but by the following Friday I still had not received any further communication or delivery of the items - despite website stating that orders would be processed within 48 hours. I called the contact number on their website and asked for an update. After two hours I called again as I had no response and the lady on the phone said that Abby who owned the company was in the warehouse but would call me back. Four hours later and still no call back, so I called again. This time the lady on the phone said she just answered telephone calls for the company and that the number was shared by a number of companies. I asked for a third time for someone to call me back by the end of the day. I then received an email on the Friday to say the goods had been shipped. Two days later I received a voicemail from Abby the owner saying that the items would not be in stock for another one/two weeks contradicting her email stating the goods had been shipped (this was after already waiting a week) and giving me her mobile number to call her on. I called back Abby on her mobile number the following day, Monday 27th June, and was just explaining that it was regarding a purchase from her website when she cut me off. I left a voicemail requesting the order to be cancelled as I was purchasing the items as a birthday gift and they would now arrive too late. I asked for a refund to my credit card and confirmation that my request had been carried out, which I also followed up with an email. Three days later and still no response back from Wood-Knit-Bee and no refund to my credit card. I will probably now have to go via my credit card issuer to request a refund of £58. So all in all terrible communication from them and they don't appear to have the stock advertised on their website. It's a pity as I planned to buy further items from them, but I have now totally lost faith in the company - I would not recommend them.
