Absolutely livid with this 'company'!

Absolutely livid with this 'company'. Much like an earlier review I placed an order and patiently waited for news. When none came after three weeks I reached out for an update and was curtly told that my item would be made as soon as possible. Then silence. Another week passes and I reach out again... and again... no replies, no updates and most importantly no goods. Finally decided enough was enough and asked straight out whether I was ever going to get what I ordered and all I got was a refund. No explanation, no apology, no nothing. Sat on my money for a month and clearly never had any intention of sending me what I had bought.
I had used this business before to purchase the same item and had never had a problem but clearly they have given up and no longer care about their customers or the reputation of their business, and I am left without the final piece of a set of four that I now can never complete. So thanks a lot.

Item not received + poor comms & customer service

I ordered an item from this company via Not on the High Street (I cant seem to leave a review there - assuming because the item was never received).

The item was showing with a short delivery timeframe and my order was placed on 29th June.

The dispatch date was stated at 16th July. On the 13th July the company updated the dispatch to 1st August without a message to say why.

2 weeks later the date was again updated to 15th August - and once again not a single word to apologise or explain why.

Another 2 weeks passed without any commmunication so i asked when i could expect delivery. 3 days later i had a message to say "they hope to get it made soon".

Another 2 weeks with any comms and i received a very blunt message saying "Sorry, I am not gonna be making this for you." No explanation or reasoning. Just cancelling an order i had been waiting 2.5 months for.

I did send an email explaining that despite the poor experience i still wanted the product if they were able to do it but they have since removed the product from site and didnt even bother with a reply!

Its a shame because their products look nice, but they really have a lot to learn regarding communication and customer service.

Company refusing to refund faulty product

Ordered a fire log from this company via Not on the High Street for a present. It arrived absolutely soaking wet and mouldy. Not in a fit state to be lit and certainly not in a fit state to gift. The company refused to refund, despite not denying it wasn’t fit for purpose, due to it being personalised. This goes against the consumers act but they, and Not On The High Street don’t care about repeat business it seems. Buyers beware!

I ordered personalised crotchet hooks…

Yet another, final update 4th March 2024;
Still no refund, no e mails, nothing in my spam folder either.
Ringing my bank now to try and recover money.
Absolutely dreadful business ran by a nasty lady who demands i take down my review. Unbelievable!
Update...
After more than a week with no response I received a very rude response saying it was my fault i didnt put an address on, I did, and to stop messaging them and to take down my review!!
You will see that i am not the only person who has had negative dealings with this shoddy and quite frankly rude lady.
Please avoid at all costs.
There are so many more decent and helpful small businesses on etsy.
I ordered personalised crotchet hooks on 6th February.
The money was taken from my account that day. To date I have received neither goods, nor confirmation email.
I have today sent my second email asking what has happened to my order. I sent the first email on Saturday.
I have had no response from either.

I've bought several items from this…

I've bought several items from this lovely company and have always been very happy. They are my go to company for wedding gifts and special occasions, and I've bought the personalised chopping board and trivet a few times. Always perfect service!

Awful customer service, such a shame!

I ordered some coasters for my family, supplying six names but only ordering 5 coasters in error. It was a genuine mistake. Instead of messaging me or giving me a call, this company literally crossed off one of the names on the order and sent 5. When I got in touch to say I made an error and would still like the other coaster, also asking why they didn’t contact me though so this could have all been cleared up, they said they could make another coaster but it wouldn’t be the same as the others now due to the wood. No explanation at all as to why they didn’t call or message, and just emphasising it was my mistake. Not good customer service or attitude! I was taken aback!
I’m now looking elsewhere as I don’t want to deal with these anymore. No point in having one piece that won’t fit the rest - they must have known all of this from the outset! So many why’s? All it took was using ones initiative and making a call or messaging! Just seems lazy and inconsiderate. Such a shame 🙁

Oak Digestive Biscuit Coaster

Never received my order as they sent it out without a house number.
Paid through PayPal so that would have shown my full name & address.
They did not contact me to ask what the number was, even though it was there.
Blamed me for the error, told me to contact Royal Mail, when they should be fully aware that they are responsible for any items, until they reach the buyer.
Had to re order, whilst I’ve opened up a dispute with Paypal.
No help, no apology, customer service non existent.
Would NOT RECOMMEND and will not be ordering from this company again after this
