Always in the garage alongside my father when I was a child as young as 6 or 7 and professionally I have held various roles all over the UK and Europe. Since 1994, I have concentrated on providing Quality Paintless Dent Repairs to UK and European customers, which nowadays carry the accreditation of being carried out to IMI standards. My experience in these industries led to begin the Design, Manufacture and Sales of various PDR Tools and accessories "Made by Professional Dent repairers, for Professional Dent Repairers!" Difficult dent removed perfectly
Had a small but annoying dent just below the wing mirror of our Mini Countryman, which a more local dent removal company had tried to remove before advising us to have it filled by a bodyshop, as they couldn't do it. Woodpecker was recommended to us so I decided to give Colin a go instead and I'm glad I did, despite being a good hour's drive away. He had a look at some photos I sent, took some advice and came back with the assessment of "hard but not impossible" and offered to take the job on saying "if I can't fix it there'll be no charge". It took him about 3 hours to tease the dent out and by the time he'd finished there was no trace of it left. I wouldn't contemplate using anyone else in the future now and there's even a pub about 5 minutes walk from his premises where you can go whilst you wait. Couldn't recommend more strongly.

We may not be the cheapest around, but we do aim to be the most cost effective and the best option for the integrity of the car. Wouldn’t use any other dent repairer
Had to use Colin’s services in the past quite a few years ago.
Recently noticed a new “ding” on our car and hoped Colin was still doing repairs. Luckily, he was and replied almost instantly to my message. A suitable time was made (very quickly actually from first contact) and I took the car over to see him.
The “ding” was repaired in no time at all and no one would ever know where it was, he then pointed out a couple of others I hadn’t noticed and quickly set about them. Such a friendly and helpful person. Keep up the good work.
I 100% recommended his services and would not hesitate to go back for anymore repairs however, I hope I don’t need to!

I am extremely particular when it comes to keeping my vehicles in excellent condition.
Luckily I found Mr Wood and have used his services on two of my cars. The first time I had a rippled crease along a very difficult angular door panel on an Audi A3. Convinced that I would need a new skin, I consulted Mr Wood on the problem. He advised that it could be manipulated and true to his word, the panel came back to shape perfectly.
The second repair carried was a nasty deep door dent, possibly from a shopping trolley.
The car was a Nissan 370Z and has a wide door, making it very noticeable. Mr Wood again carried out a flawless repair.
Great advice and great service, I could not recommend him more highly. A consummate professional.

Fantastic job
I was able to watch Colin at work taking out a dent on our car door and it was amazing to watch him gently tease it out. When I couldn’t see it he kept going because he wanted it be perfect. I can’t recommend him enough. Great job and great value for money.

Thank you for taking the time for writing your review Mark. One of the things about repairing dents for a living is that you are very good at knowing how to see a dent. That could be looking out at the car sitting next to you while sitting at the traffic lights, a casual glimpse down the side of my girlfriends car, or sat doing your job, with the vehicles owner looking over my shoulder, even when, to others, the dent has disappeared. My aim is that when the car leaves Woodpecker UK, the customer, nor anyone else, will ever see that dent again. Anywhere. Ever.

Great service. Asked if could help with dent repairs short notice due to work commitments. Saw my vehicle ASAP and the repairs where done in good time to a standard like they never existed. If I ever encounter bodywork damage again (god forbid) this gent will be my first point of call . Much appreciated

Having previous repair done by Woodpecker dent removal, which was an excellent repair I was very happy with workmanship. I had no hesitation to book Woodpecker for a dent in my door which was removed expertly by Woodpecker again.
