Motorhome was very organised (as am I) and clean so that was appreciated. Instructions very clear and Catherine showed patience when I was pairing devices with the motorhome computer. Catherine assured us that if we had a problem she was always at the end of the phone to assist - this proved true!! Beds were comfortable - everything you needed was included in the motorhome - good experience!!!

If I could give more stars I would this Lady is great to deal with ,nothings a bother .As for the campervan Catherine has thought of everything,just take some food ,clothes and jump in and off you go ,you wouldn't be disappointed ,oh and most importantly it's spotlessly clean x

Really comprehensive handover with great tips for the vehicle.
Between this and the easy guide book we had no issue with the vehicle.
Woody was in great condition, lovely comfortable beds and it was kitted out perfectly!

From our initial enquiry about hiring the van and Catherine then making time for us to view and discuss the vans, to the booking, to the handover and collection, Catherine could not have been more helpful. It was our first time using a motorhome with 2 adults and 2 dogs and the van was excellent. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and although compact with the 2 dogs, it was still very comfortable. On returning the van, again Catherine and David could not have been more flexible and helpful. A great start and experience to motorhoming!

Just had a fantastic mini-break in the Lake District in Shep, the two-berth Roller Team motorhome.
It's great to stay almost wherever you like whilst having all comforts at hand and although we've hired motorhomes before, this was the best overall experience.
Right from the start, Catherine and David could not have been more obliging. They patiently explained all the (many) features and facilities in Shep, which is fabulously well-equipped. It's a highly-specified model to begin with, but Woody's have added just about every item you could conceivably need.
Particular highlights are the "hinged both sides" fridge door so you can access from inside or outside the van, the inside/outside table, the built-in WiFi and electric step (cool and practical).
The basics are all top quality too. We opted for the king-size bed configuration, and it was really comfortable. Our Labrador loved his spacious den underneath the bed, and we found the usb sockets on the bedside lights very handy for overnight phone charging.
The various cupboards, lockers and cubby holes provide a surprising amount of storage, and we weren't exactly travelling light!
Overall, if you're looking to hire a two-berth motorhome in north Cumbria, I don't think you could do any better than taking Shep for a little adventure. I've already booked for my next trip.

We have just returned from 4 days at Silverstone in Woody – 2 adults and 2 older kids. This was out first trip in a motorhome. The customer service & communication was first class and Catherine couldn’t do enough for us. We even went down to visit Woody a few weeks before we travelled so that we could have a look around and familiarise ourselves with Woody. Fantastic motorhome which was immaculate and had everything you will need - the beds were so comfortable. Catherine took the time to explain everything before we set off, and was available at the end of a phone if we needed her. When we returned Woody both Catherine and David were there to greet us – what a lovely couple! Can’t recommend them enough, and we will definitely be using them again to make more memories. Thank you!

Shep went to Glastonbury 2025!

Just returned from a fantastic week at the infamous festival. Having the campervan was fantastic, from the shower, to having somewhere clean and dry to retreat to, and a safe space for all our gear, I couldn't recommend it enough. Catherine and David are amazing and were so helpful for us first timers. It had everything we needed plus more and they went the extra mile to make sure we could survive off grid in luxury. Thank you both!

We had a wonderful weekend away in Woodys Motorhome. Catherine was so lovely and welcoming when we arrived to collect. Everything was perfect inside, very clean and cosy. It had everything we needed, from throws to pots and pans, washing items to toilet rolls, biscuits, tea and coffee....just what we wanted. I would definately recommend.

From start to finish the whole booking service and personal touches was excellent. Every detail fully explained and clear demonstrations and if you get stuck Catherine is at the end of the phone to help out.

The motorhome is of high quality, spotless and extremely comfortable to relax in and sleep. Beds are really great! There is everything you need and much more which is really appreciated.

We loved the whole experience and will certainly book again. Thank you to Woodys for a memorable holiday in a fabulous motorhome. Can’t wait for the next!

We've just returned from a great few days away at Badminton Horse Trials with Shep. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable to sleep in and great to drive.
Catherine was fantastic to deal with from start to finish and we'll deffinatly be using them again

2 berth Shep is a nicely equipped campervan that is easy to drive (if you are used to vans) and pretty economical, returning over 36mpg.

With another couple in their van, we had a great 10 days exploring Kintyre and Ardnamurchan peninsulas, with a mix of campsites, aires and wild camping. Everything went well and Woodys were on hand for the couple of questions we had.

Catherine and Dave are great to deal with and I strongly recommend hiring from them.

From start to finish, my experience with Woodys was truly excellent. As soon as I had enquired about the rental I had fantastic levels of communication and it really did feel like there was no problems over any queries I had.
The Motorhome itself was of a very high standard and it was a pleasure to drive. The accommodation was very comfortable and the addition of membership of Campsite+ was appreciated as I made savings on my bookings.
All in all I would highly recommend Woodys Motorhome Hire!

This was our first trip in a motorhome. Catherine was excellent at the induction and there's a great manual that she has created as a reminder. The motorhome is new and equipped with all we needed for our trip. So comfortable and immaculately clean. Catherine was so helpful and only a text or phone call away if we needed anything. Just hired Woody for a short break to re-discover North Wales. Excellent customer service from start to finish and the motorhome is equipped with absolutely everything you could ever need, they really have thought of everything. Highly recommended, will definitely book again!
