Do not purchase. Fake fraud company. Poses as an elderly man with a dog shelter who hand makes his lamps when in reality they are a fraud company with cheap lamps from China. Nothing is what they say.
I was completely misled by Wooflamps’ advertising. They used stolen TikTok footage of an elderly man—who has no connection to their business—and falsely claimed he was handcrafting lamps to fund his dog rescue. Based on this emotional story, I donated an extra $20 thinking I was supporting a real sanctuary. Turns out, there is no sanctuary, and the “grandpa” doesn’t even know they’re using his image.
After filing a dispute with my bank, I was contacted from a shady email address (not even from their official domain) asking me to cancel the chargeback. That’s not how legitimate businesses operate.
I’ve since learned that the business is actually registered in the UK under a different name (WOOFLES LTD), not the family-run U.S. rescue they claimed to be. Their domain is brand new and already flagged as high-risk by scam-detection sites.
Bottom line: this feels like a dropshipping scam hiding behind fake heartwarming stories. Avoid.
