I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars. We were booked on the Alps to Ocean Classic tour starting 27 December 2025. When an immediate family member passed away on 19 December, we informed World Expeditions that we could no longer travel. Instead of showing even a shred of empathy, they refused to refund a single dollar. Meanwhile, Qantas and Air New Zealand refunded our flights without hesitation. Losing over $7,200 during such a heartbreaking time was awful, but the cold and dismissive treatment from this company made it even worse. I would never book with World Expeditions again and strongly warn others to avoid such a callous operator

Hopeless restrictive booking policies

Hopeless restrictive booking policies, and extremely poor customer service. Do not accept an Amex card and expect inconvenient payment in $US. Raise an issue and they do not budge one inch whilst defending their systems with no compromise, whilst continually saying "they are trying to help "and "find a solution" Do not know the word negotiation.
I have used them loyally since 1985 but NEVER again
