My experience at the Monastery was amazing and perfect 🤩!
Imagine a dream place, where the people of the community are polite, kind and quiet! The monastery is well decorated and organized down to the smallest detail! The vegetarian food is the best I have ever tasted in my life! The garden is meticulously cultivated and cared for by everyone. Working as a volunteer has taught me many things as a human being, and especially taught me the “Art of Silence”! I highly recommend this experience in the life of anyone who wants to collaborate and learn! I am grateful to everyone with whom I somehow interacted there… I will miss it!
Tkssss a lot @worldpackers 🤩✌🏻🥳

Great app to find volunteering around the world that are offered by the local community and not the expensive international NGO.

👍 okay 👌Setting up CHAMPIONS LEAGUE camping site with OKTOBERFEST CAMP EXPERTS(5 000 TENTS)with ESN YesTrips & STOKESTRAVEL of Barcelona was the most fun I've ever had since Toga Parties at my Sotority Gamma Phi Beta and the Rugby Frat House. 24 7 Party crazy in a very fun way teammates dancing all night doing breakfasts for France & Italy guests the day of and after France won, putting up tents in pouring muddy rain taking down tents laughing gping to Hofbrauhaus playing drinking or eating chips card games with international travelersvSOOO much fun. The hardest work and long hours but with the team it's fun work and you'll have a great experience. Loved it Worldpackers helped me having problems in Prague before my OKTOBERFEST CAMPING PRE SET UP experience and they were super supportive fast and effective.

In my opinion, the Worldpackers platform is great for users who want to meet new people but struggle to build friendships in social situations. This travel platform is ideal for planning budget-friendly trips where you can immerse yourself in different cultural environments and improve your social confidence. As someone who sometimes feels anxious in social settings, I’ve found that this volunteering platform is a helpful tool for developing a better understanding of others while making a positive impact in their communities. Worldpackers offers a wide range of opportunities to explore the world in exchange for food and accommodation. This type of travel experience helps you get to know yourself better and supports personal development. The Worldpackers customer support team always responds quickly to inquiries, and their replies are encouraging—even when addressing negative experiences during your travels.

Worldpackers helped me to find the most amazing experience. I did a volunteer job on the farm, and tips from Worldpackers were very useful when I applied for the project.
They do a great job connecting hosts and volunteers, and they create one in a life time opportunities for everyone.

Awesome platform with a cool concept. I especially like the approach it has to help grow a community on social media and the many blog articles inspiring to do so and you can even earn money by inviting people to be volunteers too. I prefer their website over workaway. Very easy to use and the team is quick to help.

Looked promising at first, but it was very disappointing experience after signing up. Main reason being that the overall hosts quality is way below standard. Some profiles were clearly outdated, hosts who hadn’t replied to anyone in months. Some listings barely had any description or recent reviews, so it was hard to tell if they were even still active. A lot of hosts are just asking for long hours of basic and boring chores around their properties (and mainly at hostels), on top of that you are still required to pay the hosts $10–15 a day. I just don’t get why I’m expected to work over 6-7 hours a day at some mudane tasks and still have to pay out of my pocket. This defeats the exchange purpose of what they claim their website to be.
I did message several hosts but got zero replies even I paid to access the platform. I later read that a good amount of Worldpackers hosts were actually banned hosts from a similar website, which honestly makes so much sense now! Yes their interface looks decent and the idea is good, but between the inactive hosts and lack of real quality control, I wouldn’t waste any time and money on Worldpackers if I were you. I am now going to switch to Workaway that looks so much more legit.

Worldpackers is more than just a travel platform—it's a life-changing gateway to connection, growth, and purpose. It has given me the incredible opportunity to explore the world, immerse myself in new cultures, and share who I am while learning from others.

It’s an awesome platform. They provide a lot of support to both hosts and volunteers. They also have a lot of choice of opportunities and great coverage worldwide.

I was pretty excited to try Worldpackers after seeing a bunch of their Tiktoks. The concept seemed solid, and the platform looked promising at first. But after a few months of searching for hosts and doing some digging, I ran into a few letdowns.
The biggest issue for me was the limited range of options. There are definitely more opportunities in Latin America, especially Brazil, but I was hoping to go to Portugal, Sicily and even rural France, and the choices outside of Latin America were super limited or just inactive.
I also noticed most of the roles were hostel-related, like reception, cleaning, doing laundry, that kind of thing. That’s fine if that’s your thing, but I was hoping for more variety and more cultural exchange-type stuff. It all started to feel kind of repetitive, especially compared to the cool-looking content they post on social media.
Honestly, it felt like their social media content was overselling it, what I found on the actual platform was nowhere near what they were hyping up.
