Most beautiful and fulfilling thing you can do.

If you've ever felt that donating wasn't worth it, or that you might be getting scammed, you will be relieved to know that this isn't the case here.
Instead of just helping individuals, they help the individual children alongside their entire village and also refugee camps! They send you videos, photos, letters, etc. It's real, and it's beautiful. Sometimes you can't understand what they're saying (because they speak their native language and are children lol), but it still brings you to tears knowing that their life, and the lives of their whole community, are being lifted.
You can choose to support individual children, orphans, or refugee camps.
You don't need to make monthly donations, as they have options for volunteering and one-off payments.
Do not hesitate, you won't regret a thing.

James 1:27
'Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.'

Helping vulnerable children

I have sponsored a beautiful girl from the age of 8 years living in Mozambique for about 4 years and with the photos I receive I can see her growing into a lovely girl. I receive short letters from Sulmira and I reciprocate. There is plenty to read about how Sulmira is progressing and what work is being done in so many areas to help the communities. I recently received notification from World Vision which eased my mind after flooding in the area. Sulmira and her community thankfully were not affected.
Nothing but praise for the good work done to help the most vulnerable children, in the most remote places on God’s earth.

sponsor a child

I have been a sponsor for several years. It's a very good experience. I receive regular updates - reports, messages, pictures and videos - for the child and her community.
Also letters, drawings etc from the child.
Very worthwhile. It feels like I'm making a direct positive difference.

I have sponsored children with this organisation for many years and have always been kept well informed about how the children are getting on. There regular updates help me to understand how worthwhile sponsoring a child is.

Absolutely amazing organisation!

I have sponsored children with them for many years and they are an excellent Christian organisation. They do amazing things for the children and for their communities. Their customer service is outstanding and they are a joy to deal with. I would absolutely recommend them if you are thinking of doing child sponsorship.

World Vision (WV) is simply amazing

World Vision (WV) is simply amazing. I currently sponsor three children. WV provide updates on how the children are doing together with letters and photos. They do not bombard you with messages for help and are always looking to improve. They also host some great webinars to explain what their role is and you get the chance to ask questions. They do really good work. Please support them. Andrew, Isle of Wight

I have loved becoming a sponsor for Mohamed

I have loved becoming a sponsor for Mohamed. The pics and interactions are great. Not too much and not too little. Beautifully taken videos and pics and insights to the world he lives in. Can’t wait to find out more about him and his culture and how this is helping him and others in his family and community.

Sponsoring Children Through World Vision…

Sponsoring Children Through World Vision.
I have been sponsoring children for well over 30 years and am now with my 12th child. It has been a joy and privilege to see these children grow into confident, healthy and motivated young people with skills to help their communities and knowledge about keeping themselves safe and how to speak up for themselves. World Vision enables the community to improve every area of their lives not by imposing but by working with the desires of the whole community. They also stay with the community until they and the leaders are happy and able to manage everything themselves, usually for 15 years or more. The money I give benefits not only the child with whom I have contact but many more and feeds into the community. I have always found them helpful and understanding and would recommend the organisation to anyone who feels we need to help the young around the world to flourish and grow into knowledgeable and engaged citizens of their community and country.

Arrogantly increasing the direct debit without consulting first

I've been paying £26 for years, which is quite a lot as a single parent family. However, I was furious to receive a letter where they had 'decided' to take £30 instead. Of course, you then get a telephone line to 'discuss any questions' but the sheer arrogance of a letter that starts with emotional blackmail and ends with a 'we have decided' to take more of my money ensured a swift cancellation of the direct debit. The sponsorship goes to the whole community and not the child so I'm sure they will get new cover. But when the CEO has given themselves an 8% increase to over £90k a year and I keep getting hassled to give more money (£200 for a Zoom call, anyone?) then this, I know for sure my money isn't going where I want it to go and they are getting arrogant and lazy with their marketing and fund raising. This is too much for most people and they would get far more by asking for donations people can afford.

Why sponsor a Child with World Vision

My Wife and I have sponsored a child through World Vision for around 30 years now. Presently we are supporting our fourth child. The information about the community and its project is very helpful as well as the opportunity to write to your child. It’s possible to visit or meet your child by video with all safeguarding in place. It’s so good to know you can achieve much more than simply sending off regular donations.

I sponsor a little boy through this…

I sponsor a little boy through this charity and he is now my 3rd child with World Vision and I have found it to be a brilliant experience. It is not hard work and you can correspond as often as you wish and you can send gifts. If you are able you can go out and visit your sponsor child of course depends where they live etc. I believe it to be money well spent but that is just my view. Try and see if it doesn't feel good too. Your length of sponsorship depends on how long WorldVision is going to be in that area. My first child was years and my 2nd child was only a few years and this little boy is going to be the same.

World Vision is a genuine Non-profit organisation which I knew…

World Vision is a genuine organization which I knew when I was 14 years old, back in my country, Zimbabwe (I'm 47 turning 48 now). It was helping people in the rural community near my boarding school so I grew up with a lot of respect for it. When they called me asking for a donation, I felt honoured and privileged to be a part of such a noble cause, so, here I am, a proud child sponsor! Well done, World Vision! I'm proud to be associated with you!
