Installers, Marcio and his crew came as scheduled and completed the installation of my hardwood flooring in one day. Job professionally done. They also did all the cleanup and removal of the old carpet and the ripped up tiles. I give the price, service and installation from Worldwide Wholesale of Edison NJ an A++ rating.

We have had 3 homes and each and every time we used Worldwide Wholesale to buy carpets. They are very helpful and eager to please. They answer all of our questions and seem to be upfront with all of the information. We have and are very happy with our carpets and will continue to use this company for all future purchases and referrals.

The sales process was the easiest part;be sure to let your salesperson know what room your purchase is for as it can help determine if your selection works in its intended space. My salesperson and the measurer offered constructive information to help with my choice.
The installers were proactive and showed creative initiative when we saw that all material had not been sent. They made it work.
Overall, I felt like my business was appreciated and valued.

Expectation were great we choose Worldwide Wholesale Floor Covering over Home Depot, Lowe's, Lumber Liquidation and others.
The sale person was knowledgably, intelligent, offered us a deal and went for it.
Delivery was on time as scheduled, the only problem was it was a back order.
Installation started without completion of the order.
So now we have to wait another "10" or more days to get the rest of the order, as you can imagine it's very inconvenient sitting in all this mess .
The wood quality on a scale from 1-5 is 3.
Many holes some needs to be filled that doesn't crack in the future. I would appreciate that the floor is inspected and all necessary done.
One more suggestion is for the company does installation, please don't remove any wood until the job is complete.

Upon entering worldwide we were approached by a sales man who was to assist us with hardwood flooring and a carpet. However at the same time he was writing an order for another customer and ignoring us. I understand the commission aspect of sales, but to double dip and keep one customer waiting while you close the deal with another is unacceptable.. They finally switched us to another salesman who gladly took our order. 300sqft of hardwood w/ install and old carpet removal and 216sqft of carpet installed.
World wide was out to measure the rooms within 2 days and about a week later we received final estimates.. WOW. the carpet cost had gone from $400 installed to $800 installed. We were off on our initial room size by 6ft. The initial $400 quote was for 12x18 room and we needed 12x24.. so 6 more feet doubles the price.. BE WARE OF THIS! They call it a "special" I call it bait and switch. I asked if they could just charge the additional 6ft at the full price and give me the 12x18 at the special price.. the answer was NO you don't qualify... :( After a few days of back and fourth they finally agreed to meet us 1/2 way.
As for the hardwood floor.. I understand that you need 10% more for waste but BE WARE they charge you labor on the waste!! So if you buy 342sqft of flooring for a 300sqft room you pay labor against 42sqft that is not even installed! Is this an industry practice? From what I read its up to the installer. Just note.. on the original quote, the square footage for the floor (materials) is 10% larger than the room size, but the labor footage is the same as the room size.. it was not until later when I received the final quote they upped the numbers, even the carpet removal went to 342sq feet (Hey how can you charge to remove carpet that does not exist?) !!

So we have a date to install the floor.. Yeah! I took off work and moved all the furniture out of the room. Then we get a call at 5pm. the night before. oh.. sorry we messed up and we are just dropping the wood off tomorrow, it needs to sit in your house for a few days. We charge $80 for this, but because we messed up we will waive the fee. WHAT?? Don't you guys install floors for a living? How did you "mess" this up, oh and your not going to charge me the $80 fee that you never told me about anyhow.. how nice.

Another week goes by and we have an install date for both the carpet and wood. The carpet installer shows up first and starts to remove the rug from the truck.. Hey buddy.. THAT'S THE WRONG RUG!!

He's on his way back to the warehouse to get the right one, he may have to reschedule.
Finally both jobs are complete!

Overall is the carpet nice, YES. Does it look good, YES
Same holds true for the flooring. It looks good and seems to be installed well. However throughout the sales process I felt like it was shady and scammy (I know not a word) World Wide can be more transparent with their sales tactics. I am just one customer with two orders, both had multiple issues that were aggravating and stressful. The company sells flooring all day every day, you think it would have been an easy experience.
Would I shop there again? Probably not, but then again are any other flooring stores any better?

Once payment is received, care less about customer. Will take their own sweet time to COMPLETE JOB. No ETA WILL BE PROVIDED. The only answer you hear is "Don't know". Not measured right. Didn't order all the that is needed initially (transitions). Job half done... About 2 weeks and no ETA on when pending shipment will come and when they will come back and fix. My toddler tripped twice and hurt as rough edges of the wood is exposed...

Very comfortable with their workers in the house especially when we had to leave for an hour or so. Great product and happym with installation.

All went smoothly with my purchase of new carpet. My sales associate, Suzette, was personable, helpful and efficient at helping me find the right carpet for my needs. Measuring and installation went smoothly and I'm very happy with my new carpet.

complete project of hardwood install was amazing

Terrible salesperson, very hard to deal with all employees there, from receptionist to installer. The product was good and we are happy with our carpet but I would rather buy it somewhere else where they treat the costumer better.

Just came in and bought two rugs, they have an amazing selection, the best prices and great sales people that really help with picking rugs out.

Great experience all around -- sales, measurement, and installation. The product quality is also excellent.
