Today they've made me feel like something you scrape off your shoe

I am a long standing client of Wren Sterling. I have been trying to contact them all day with regards making a complaint regarding the poor service and advice (at least in my eyes) I have received from them. Despite several calls, messages via the client portal, emails and chats,... nothing!
For transparency my advisor did eventually call me, but to be honest I am done speaking to him.
I thought Wren Sterling were supposed to be a professional outfit, sadly today they've made me feel like something you scrape off your shoe!

Reply from wrensterling.com

Hi Andy, apologies for the late reply - Wren Sterling doesn't actively maintain this Trustpilot page so it didn't come up straight away. Firstly, we're sorry you had a bad experience with your Financial Planner. Responsiveness is essential in an advisor-client relationship. We're now 2 months after this, and we understand things are going well with your new Financial Planner. Should you ever feel dissatisfied with your Financial Planner, Wren Sterling will fix it for you. Once again we're sorry this happened to you, but we're looking forward to continuing to work with you in the future.

Mark Torrado, first class service

Mark Torrado provided me with information which was easy to understand and made sure I was happy with his responses to my questions.

He kept in touch throughout the time and made, what I thought, a complicated matter very simple to understand.

Would definitely recommend contacting Mark to discuss your financial issues.

Wren Sterling really poor customer experience, and the management made it even worse.

I consulted Wren Sterling for pension advice and initially they were very helpful one I consolidated two of my 3 pensions. However, once I reached retirement, the broker was clearly very unhappy when I chose to draw my main company pension scheme direct, rather than moving it to be managed. This increased when I chose an annuity for the other (consolidated) pension. I was very clear, having checked out all of my options what I wanted. Twice they set up a further calls trying to persuade me to let them continue to manage the fund (naturally for a further fee). When it was clear I wanted an annuity, they offered me one in Canada that I tentatively agreed to, which they later told me was now close.
It was at this point I walked away, as I felt if they didn't even know which products/funds were still taking customers on, then I wasn't going to trust them with £300K of my money.
I submitted a written complaint to the company as I wondered if I'd just had a poor advisor, but the manager was worst, completely disinterested in me or my complaint.
