We have used James for both our first and second home purchases, and we honestly couldn’t recommend him enough. We loved our experience so much we returned to James when buying our second home.

James has helped us through improving credit scores, locking in the best morgage rates, finances and advised us on where to move/ when. James goes above and beyond just being a morgage advisor.

As first-time buyers, we had lots of questions — including plenty of silly ones — but James was always patient, supportive, and happy to explain everything clearly. He made what can be a very overwhelming process feel much more manageable.

What really stands out about James is how honest and genuine he is. He helps you make tough decisions with confidence and always has your best interests at heart. James isn’t afraid of being honest, even if it means hearing a difficult outcome as he wants to get you the best opportunities in house buying. He is professional while still being personable, which makes such a difference during the stress of buying and selling a home.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this one is genuinely deserved.
I first worked with Wrigley Mortgage Services when buying my first home, and more recently again when my initial term ended and I needed to remortgage. Both times, James made the whole process feel far less stressful than I expected.
As a first-time buyer, I had a lot of questions, and everything was explained clearly without overcomplicating things. I always felt like I understood what was happening and why. Communication was consistent throughout, and I was kept updated at every stage.
When it came to remortgaging, the process was just as smooth. James took the time to review my situation properly and found a deal that worked well for me, rather than just going with the obvious option.
One thing that really stood out was that he also managed to save me a substantial amount of money on my insurances without me even asking. It genuinely felt like he was treating my money as if it were his own and looking for ways to save me as much as possible.
Overall, it never felt rushed or transactional, more like someone genuinely looking out for my best interests.

We absolutely love James, he got us into our first home in about 2020 and he’s just helped us secure a really good rate for our dream home whilst I’m on maternity leave. We first came across James by chance and he got us a mortgage which we didn’t think we would be able to get, and we remortgaged with him a few times. We lost his contact details but then he was recommended to us by an independent estate agent when we started looking to sell our house. So we were really pleased to find him again. James has always been at the end of the phone and he also looked at a couple of houses we wanted to buy so we knew what to offer price wise.

I would highly recommend James for mortgages, he’s very easy to get hold of, he’s very knowledgeable, and he’s very quick to lock in rates and get the ball rolling. I also have two young children so it’s difficult to attend appointments in person, so I’ve always done things over the phone or over video call with James which is brilliant.

We’ve always wanted to borrow as much as possible and James has helped us do that so we are very great full.

Again, we highly recommend him and we would never use anyone else.
