All Hype, No Results, Don't Waste Your Money if Income is Crucial
This website promises a whole bunch of tools for life and a litany of writing jobs, regardless of experience level. I paid $47 for the "lifetime access" and I should have used the money for toilet paper for the lack of value I have received from this site. They get you to spend the initial $47 and then try to sell you upgrade packages with a bunch of other "features". I desperately needed work when I spent this money, as I was out of work for weeks. I didn't have the money to waste. The truth is, you are getting no value for the money you spend and the jobs they say they have do not exist. I wish sites like this would get shut down expeditiously.
Hello how are you
Too Good To Be True
Don't be lured in by the promise of work. All this website/company does is provide you with listing and links to companies looking for writers. Basically, you are paying for services you can find through any free job finding website such as Indeed and LinkedIn. I signed up today and cancelled within 5 minutes of signing up. It is a ridiculous waste of my time and efforts, as well as money. I am receiving a refund, however, it takes up to 10 days to be refunded. What a joke. What they took only seconds to take from my bank account for services they promised on but didn't deliver, takes 10 days to come back to me. Trust me, trust yourself, it is too good to be true and a complete waste of time and effort.
If you are looking to be a freelancer…
If you are looking to be a freelancer or work online DO NOT PAY TO START. Go to fiverr or upwork. Problem solved. Plus all the negative reviews ..... you really need to make a change before the change makes you.
Throwing your money away
Their documents are super buggy. I run into a error code about every thirty minutes using their analytics tool.
Very basic editing choices.
Sure, it is nice have all my work in one place but the amount of times I have to reload the document I am working on is not worth it.
THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM-AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS
I was going to sign up but it was so complicated and so user UNfriendly that I gave up. Then I read horrible reviews subsequently from people who had actually invested financially in this scam, didn't get any work and lost their money. They also try to upsell...and for nothing more than their own profit.
Horrible
Horrible. Absolutely horrible. This is an absolute scam/fraud, whatever you want to call it. This company lures you in by advertising 25-35/hour work from home! Except, this company does nothing to help you actually achieve that. Users pay 15$/month for the company to redirect you to indeed.com. You have to message them to cancel your membership and even then they will harass you and CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU. FOR NOTHING. TO BE REDIRECTED TO INDEED.COM. THIS COMPANY DOES NOTHING AND CHARGES YOU FOR IT EVEN AFTER YOU CANCEL. FRAUD.
Waste of time and money
Sad to have to give a negative review, but customer service no longer even bothers to respond to my repeated requests for a simple password reset. I put a lot of work into creating an attractive site for potential clients but can’t go live because I can’t get into my account. The excuse I keep hearing is that the “tech team” is looking into it. Still waiting two months later. Don’t waste your time and money like I have.
Definitely not worth it THEY UPSELL YOU!
Definitely not worth it! As soon as you sign up with them and pay the $49 they hit you with a $99 instructional video that you have to get to understand how to navigate and become successful. Then they try and upsell you many more times stating to become successful here you will need to know all this stuff. I asked for a refund within 24 hours and they did not refund the $99! only the $49 Very bad business strategy, it's very misleading and not ethical at all. DON'T GET SUCKED IN LIKE I DID!
skip and save your time and money
Be prepared to see old indeed job postings that expired and to be introduced to their kit and upsold right away to buy an add on. Don't do it! the only good thing is their 30 day refund on buying the $40ish membership anything else after that say bye-bye to. signed up and within 5 min didn't see any work coming from it. customer support is quick on intercom for refund. The refused to refund the add on.
you want me to Pay to work???
I did not get past the initial sign up and information video as this company asks for a PAYMENT to get started.
In my experience with freelance work, that is the Number ONE red flag suggesting that this website is trying to Scam me!
We should not have to pay to work.
What a hoax!
What a hoax!! I've already spent my $47.00 on WritersWork, and the only thing that company has sent me was scams and imaginary sites.
Writers Work Contact Details
I tried to register after I made payment and I couldn't proceed with the registration so, I tried to contact Writers Work but didn't find any physical address or phone number or email address and I couldn't find their CONTACT. I need the Contact information of Writers Work.
I have decided to keep them for now and hope for the best
I wrote to what was suppose to be the email contact address and I have never heard anything back from them. They said it would be $47.00 for lifetime membership, but the bill was twice that! I finally heard from them and they have made an explanation. I was satisfied after hearing something from them.
I have decided to keep them and see what I can do with the membership and with the coaching/toolkit. Perhaps something good can come from it.
Valuable Resource
I’ve been testing this app out for my service and it’s pretty spectacular. Professional setup, well orchestrated, and properly maintained. It’s a “well oiled machine,” so to speak. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in providing writing services on a professional level.
