No no no this school is horrible....

No no no this school is horrible....

I quickly read feedback from others here and realized that I am not the only one who face issue with their system. The funny thing is, whatever is wrong with their system, they are not responsilbe for that. And, I dont understand why they always have to put dozen of dificulties for its students. I am wondering if it is because they are currently overwhelmed and cannot have enough exam places to give to its students .

Let me tell you my case.

This school provided me an app for booking lessons, and also for practicing for theory exam. I installed this app in my Iphone where I have my private phone number. In order for better learning, I also installed this app in my other Android phone, so that I can practice in both phones.

One day, I contacted their customer service and requested to register for the exam and to book driving lessons. They told me I need to 1) finished all theory lessons in the app (I already participated in all their 14-hours class but sill have to finish all 14 theory lessons in the app which includes more than thousand of questions) and 2) I need to practice exam simulation until I reach 80% passed posbilities so that I can register for the exam. They kept avoiding the topic that I request for driving lessons (I am entitled to do so). Further than that, they cannot see my app in their system, therfore they cannot know my progress. And, they would not register me for the theory exam just because they dont see my app in their system lol...

My arguments are:

1) according to German regulation, I can take the exam when I finish 14-hours theory class. In this case, I not only participated in their 14-hours theory classes, but also finish more than thousands of questions requested in the app. Accordingly, I am entitled to take theory exam.

2) there is no official regulation that I have to pass exam simulation with 80% posibility in order to take the test, so officially I dont have to do so. But I still do. I have proof (screenshot of the app) that I did reach that 80% passed posibility result. But they did not see my app in their system. So again, I cannot take the theory exam lol....

3) they came up with the idea that they could not see my app in their system because I installed the app in two phones. Ok, I uninstalled the app from my Android company phone, but they still could not see my app. At this point, they told me to re-install the app in the Android phone and uninstalled it from the Iphone. Ok I followed their instructions, it still did not work, they did not see my app and I still can not take the exam lol...After all, they came up with the idea that I have to put my personal sim-card (which I am using with my iphone) to my Android. I told them dozen times that it is impossible, the Android phone is my company phone, I have to use that phone together with my company simcard, the entire phone was installed with so many security applications. At this point, they just forced me to to put my personal simcard into my company phone, otherwise they will not see my app, then they cannot see my progress, then they cannot see if I meet their own-ruled requirements for the exam, then of course I will not have the exam.

More importantly, nobody knows if they would really see my app in their system if I put my personal simcard to the company phone (of course it is impossible for me to do so), because that is just their guess lol.... So, intead of fixing their system, and answer why they cannot see my app in my iphone where my personal simcard is, they insisted that my personal simcard has to be in the Android for no reason lol ... if I dont do so, they dont see the app, I dont have exam and driving lessons.

Basically, their app is uncapbale of doing what they expected. Customer service is unable to solve, irresponsilbe, did not see their problem and now suddently the problem is on the shoulder of the customer. And because they cannot see my app, that also means that I cannot book driving lessons, will not be assigned to any driving lessons.

I request this school to register me for the exam, find a solution to give me driving lessons if they cannot fix the app. In case this school cannot do so, I claim the school to refund me 100% because the school cannot provide their services as promised. From my side, I already did all I could do and nothing was wrong from my side. And please, dont tell me the nonsense to contact your customer service, I already did, both via Telegram and via email, and nothing solved, I only receive a stuborn answer. That is why I come here.

I have a very serious problem with this…

I have a very serious problem with this driving school. My first practical lesson my instructor besides being late for a smoke, didn't have any patience at the very first moment, because I didn't understand the first and only command he spoke to me. Immediately he asked me where I was from, if I already had a license in my country, etc. He didn't repeat the name of the first command that I didn't understand and immediately told me to get out of the car saying that there was no way I could have class. I asked him to repeat it, to speak slowly that I was learning the commands in German, I told him that I was at school learning German, but he said again that he would not give the class and that he would cancel the two classes scheduled and that I would have to speak German first to be able to take the class.
I asked about the fees for the 2 classes that he was canceling, and he told me not to worry that the fees would be canceled free of charge.
Even so, I asked again to take the classes, since I had canceled meetings and appointments to be in the classes I scheduled and that he could please give me the classes and teach me all the commands. But he had a dog with him inside the auto school, I think it is his pet, and he again told me to go away and informed me that the fees would not be charged. I, besides speaking little German, spoke in English and put all the sentences in the translator into German and showed it to him just to make sure that he asked to cancel the classes and that the fees were also being canceled as he confirmed.
However, the fees have not been cancelled so far. I questioned Karola, the secretary of the driving school, and she said that the instructor doesn't agree to cancel the values of the 2 classes nor the value of the cancellation of the classes that are also being charged. I reported the whole thing by email, and sent it to the driving school. But the answer was that the instructor doesn't agree to cancel the values of the classes he canceled. In other words, all the values are pending in my name unfairly. That was not what was agreed. I didn't ask for the cancellation of the classes. I accepted the cancellation because he told me to get out of the car, came into the office with a dog along with him, me, and told me to go home that the amounts would be cancelled. The debt is still outstanding.
I am trying to solve this problem amicably, but the auto school is adamant that it will not cancel the fees.

I highly recommend 123Fahrschule!

I highly recommend 123Fahrschule as the place to do your driving license. I completed mine in 3/4 months and really enjoyed the process of learning, especially with my teacher Dennis! The process of study is easy with online classes and a comprehensive app and the driving lessons could be booked in a way that worked around a busy working schedule. Grateful for my license made possible with 123Fahrschule!

Great experience even as English speaker

A few weeks ago I passed my practical driving exam on the first try (as an English speaker even though practical exams are in German). I had an excellent experience with 123fahrschule Düsseldorf Zentrum - especially when it came to practical lessons with Jurgen - he is an outstanding teacher (I especially enjoyed learning in luxury Audi's and BMWs). Online theory courses were in German - but app was provided in English and I could follow the mandatory classes remotely via zoom. The direct communication with the school via telegram messaging app was easy to use and very quickly got responses to any questions I had. Overall a great experience and would recommend.

Unprofessional, Stressful, unpleasant experience.

May be mine is an edge case but the experience was very stressful, I thought 123fahrschule was very professional because of its wide spread multiple branches but I was wrong.
Here is what happened, I was not able to login into portal so I complained them, they said they will look into it(5 March 2021), I didn't get any response from them for approx a month, then after a month when I followed up(1 April 2021) they said my account is archived and can no more login so I have to register again. I thought might be technical glitch on their end so let me register again its not a big deal and I registered again (which was not supposed to be because I was able to login few days back and attended classes before). After registration I waited for response and to my surprise they came up with new condition you cannot register with same email ID, this was like unreasonable. I felt instead of fixing the issue they were trying to just escape. When I asked them in case you cannot fix the issue please cancel my contract and refund my money. They did cancel the contract but they said they cannot refund which was completely unfair because the main reason I asked them to cancel the contract and repay was because I was not able to login to portal and take my classes, this went on for approximately 2-3 months. Since they didn't provide the service they promised to I was entitled for full refund which is also part of their AGB but unfortunately they didn't hence I would say be very careful.

Amazing Driving-School

Amazing school, amazing quality. My teacher was "Ufuk Uzun", if you can request him specifically as your instructor, you won't regret it. He did everything he can to make sure I pass the exam in the first try and I did. Very friendly staff, straight-forward process and they communicate frequently via email and SMS. If you convert your driver license, I would say go for this one. 5 star driving-school.

Highly recommended in Düsseldorf area

My instructor was Thomas. He was very professional and was always on time. He corrected the mistakes I made very professionally and made sure that I did not make them again. He gave reasoning behind every rule and helped me clear the licence exam in the first attempt itself

Highly disappointing!

Highly disappointing! Their staff cheats, lies and their response to the issue raised was completely toxic and unprofessional. I will clearly not recommend this driving school to any one.
